It's likely not a black hole, but a dwarf star is a possibility. A dwarf star, though tiny, has a huge mass and would DEFINITELY cause disturbances. The only evidence we have that Elenin is a comet and not a dwarf star is what NASA-a government entity, tells us. If you think the US government wouldn't lie to you about something important, well, you're mistaken. Can't say I know the whole truth, but we're right to question what 'they' tell us.

Regardless, this object is huge and has a great deal of mass as well as a huuuge debris field..once this object is between the eart and sun this debris will splash backwards right to our planet. @cooterman4 Do The Math Simple Logic, Small 10 km comets or asteroids have very short orbit periods of just a few years it's a Mass to Gravity Ratio Function. The longer the orbit period the bigger the comet mass, Elenin has 1M to 600,000 year orbit period what does that tell you, Elenin has enormous mass. I do not like it but that's the way things work inside a logical Universe. An object mass size is proportional to its orbital period.

Elenin is a relatively small comet, estimated to be 3-4 km in diameter. The close approac is estimated to be at 0.23 AU which is over 21 million miles (last October another comet came much closer).

Astronomers are moniroting Elenin, and don't see any reason to worry. The biggest thing we will get from it is a meteor shower and a nice view of the comet in the sky.
