I don't believe they really have an advantage... You don't concentrate on the other two screens, look at the ey movement when they are playing, Has to do with the distance from the eye to the screens, they are way to close.

Nothing more that I want than a stretched image split by the monitors bezel. This in theory is cool and nice for some applications, but the projector being seemless is the best. Ill stick with my 52" Samsung and 360. Dont judge me. I am a HUGE PC gamer, but have been disappointed with the lack of content for the great hardware that is out. Why does a 5 year old console COD look like the PC counterpart for the most part? Programmers arent taking advantage of the PC hardware..just ports.

@Aristowi imo for eyefinity i like 4:3 is the way to go. You end up with more lcd in your peripheral vision and see way higher than you normally would as well. It's all a matter of preference though.

You need to buy the Active Displayport Adapter that Sapphire just created. Not available until January. It allows you to use the display port for one of your DVI monitors. Welcome to the screwed by ATI club.

I am setting up a system using three Dell monitors and Sapphire 5870 card with Eyefinity. I can only get 2 monitors to work at once. On the graphics page, only 1 and 2 can be managed. The 3rd shows but when I select it it says I can only enable it if I disable one of the others. Not sending three signals I guess. In Control Panel I see all 3 monitors but the 3rd has a more basic icon. On the monitor it says that the computer is not sending a signal. All three do work independently.Any ideas?

Its not a gimmick, its the first HARDWARE multi-screen solution. There have been software to similuate it for years. Back in the 1990's BestBuy used to have a 9 screen setup playing N64 in the middle of the store.
