Awesome video. Have a question, at the end you say that you can edit the blend lines in photoshop with a brush, what brush/technique do you use to get rid of the blend line?

@CGartist09 maybe any brush will do as long as you know how to texture and blend the color in photoshop, just edit the settings, Flow > 1 , Opacity > 70, just play with the settings. Painting in photoshop will helps you a lot on this.

@fucknaute if u have zbrush 4 get the UV master plugin. Its so easy to use that u will die of happiness no more uv editing EVER!

great tutorial....I have used Zapplink before, but now when I try to launch it it gives me "eroor in trying to launch external application" Even after I set it to photoshop cs4. Any thoughts?

Great tutorial! I have a question that I was wondering if you could help me with. I'm creating my model in Sketchup, export it out as OBJ, and then import it into ZBrush. The problem though, is when I go to paint on it with Zapplink, it disappears when I apply it. It does this every single time. I just don't get it. Is there anyway that I can make this workflow happen? Thanks dude.

Any files such as plug-in, brushes, materials and etc... that's downloaded from the pixologic site should be place in the ZStartup directory in the proper folder relative to what your installing. I hope that helps. :)

Unfortunately it doesn't work. I installed the Image Plane plug in but when I choose a picture at load image I only see a blank plane. I used a .jpg

What can I do to make it work?

quick question.

when I use zapplink, the photo that gets projected is very pixelated. The photo I am using is rather large and I have to size it down quite a bit using the free transform tool in photoshop. Is the image size the problem?

Great tutorial.

I'm using ZBrush in one of my college 3D classes and the professor's flying through it a little quick. This was definitely everything I needed to catch back up to what he was covering and clears up some confusion.

I have the same problem. It opens Photoshop but then nothing happens. Great tutorial by the way!!

Go to program files and right click the zbrush application and choose "Run as administrator". It will open up as normal. Do the same for the Adobe Photoshop application in the program files directory.

Also btw when your in free transform mode (ctrl + T) you can just right click it and choose warp, skew, and all the other options that are there instead of edit>transform>warp.
