To get it in sync, I think you might need to get a hold of a better camera. Haha, and as for your power chords, I do the same thing to, so I can strum all the strings while only playing the ones I want. Except I use my pinky finger when I play power chords. That way, it doesn't look like you're flipping people off. :P Anyways, I can't sweep neither. But practice arppegios, practice, and practice really helps. It's just really time consuming.
