@QualDanas yes sir, this is when they MADE movies. This is better than cgi, this looks real! REAL! because it is! For example, one of the scariest movies i have ever seen was The Thing (1982). Why? No cgi. It all looked pretty damn real. Besides it being scary, its a great movie highly recommend it.

Hey he has a G3A3 1:26 , Years Ago when I was a very small boy I watched this movie and loved it. The G3A3 is my favorite rifle but I didn't develop that liking for it until I was much older. This movie must have influenced me some how, the G3A3 is not a common weapon.

Saw this with friends years ago as a skeek peak. Crowd was laughing as Bert was going to be yet another B movie victim who underestimates the monster. But when the camera panned out and the audience first saw the wall of firepower. The place erupted in howls and cheers.

Never thought about it before, but I love how the gunfire comes -after- they assume they're dead. There's something I find powerful, even in a movie like this, about being forced to listen to AND -watch- your friends fend for themselves.

@CryTremorFan When Burt and his Wife fail to stop the slug monster with conventional firearms Burt breaks open the glass case and gets out a giant rifle with giant shells. That gun is the 600 nitro express. It shoots a 1000 grain projectile and has fire power that it has is almost like an artilery shell. It can stop a charging rhinoceros in it's tracks. It was the the perfect weapon to kill that slug monster.

@CryTremorFan I want to correct myself and say the 600 nitro fires a 900 grain bullet not 1000 grain. I don't claim to be the absolute authority on firearms and I don't mean to argue but that was no shotgun. Look at the metalic shells he loads into it at 2;02. Google 600 nitro express images and check it out. Also in movie trivia Tremors is the only movie to feature the 600 nirto express. Great scene though! I would have started shooting too if that giant worm messed my reloading bench.
