  • Well, I saw it and it was funny and thought it had some pretty thought provoking observations about childhood and growing up. But the plot seemed a little lite to me. Not that I expect a blatant childhood comedy to be dark, but the main character could've faced a harsher reality; I didn't expect him to be such a sordid prick. "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" kind of felt like a cross between "The Peanuts", "Malcolm in the Middle", and "Mean Girls".

  • I'm in sixth grade and I experience most of the stuff in the movie. There was once a family dance in my school, like the mother-son one in the movie, and my mom just started dancing and embarrising me. I read the book and the book just was a little funnier.

  • i watched it free here

watch TTT last TTT movies. com (delete TTT's)

    enjoy

  • Actually better than I thought it would be. I especially liked the part where greg was in the play and when he gets Rodrick into trouble by hiding the candy bar in Rodrick's porno magazine so Manny would get it and the mom would walk in on Manny holding it.

  • Just think about what the movie would be like if it was 100% like middle school! But still, that's what I thought.

  • the book is sooooo different then the movie! like everything is the oppistie

  • there in bellbrook

  • sweet review

    well done

  • So you found it somewhat "cheesy"..? LOL. All day Max has been giving me the "Cheese Touch". We all enjoyed it - it was just nice to have some silly laughs. The boy was good, and I liked the older brother. My favorite scene was the "It's Awesome to be Me!" educational video they had to watch in class. :P

  • Oh I get it "cheesy" haha. Yeah, I loved that scene too it was hysterical. The film was a nice silly little escape that was more enjoyable then I probably gave it credit for.

  • Honesty, the cheesy lines would make more scene if you read the book. Why don't you?

  • Haha how would cheesy dialogue be any better if I had to hear it again in another form? I'm pretty sure I made a point of mentioning the fact that adaptions need to stand alone from their source material in the beginning of the video.

  • cool 5/5

  • good review man awesome although does it cutout :( i dident hear your score :(

  • I think at 5:21 it's displayed. I gave it a 7.5/10.
