Well Arceus's base stat total is 720, higher than any other Pokémon. Previous Pokémon, among them Mewtwo, have only had a maximum total of 680.

And Arceus can Learn Any Move. (Depending which Plate he has)

So Spiritomb still has no chance.

(Maybe in a Pokemon RPG game if you ttrain him to level 100 :p)

Goddamn it. Can you new trainers SHUT THE FUCK UP about Base Stats. Before Hoenn generation and that damn Deoxys, no one gave a fuck about Base Stats. Not even tournament trainers, as I've been in many in the past.

Nowadays, though, it's Base Stats this and Base Stats that and fucking Deoxys and Arecus, all the time. Anyone who started with 3rd gen and up only talks about that. It's so fucking GAY. Just use your FAVORITES and stop being a stat fag.

And yes Deoxys 4 Forms did bring inside pokemon stats into the next level. But its fair like that. Don't freak out.

Most who talk "Base Stats" don't even know anything about strategy. It's just a rush of how much vitamins/Pokerus they can get on their Pokemon to max out their stats. I am SO SICK of hearing about "Base Stats" and that fucking Arceus. Not even religious but how can God be a Pokemon, anyway?

I'm not even trying to brag but I was a World Champion. Entering tournaments and stuff solely based on "Base Stats" and how much you can exploit Shedinja (which is what everyone now does) is really gay.

dude, chill. I made it into the semi-finals in a few tournaments using more than base stats. I took my team into high consideration such as a batoner, physical and special sweeper, healer etc. Some people really tick me off to about the "base stats is everything" stuff and I feel like killing em all instead of catching em all. Also, I hate shedninja exploiters too. Really annoying people keep using shedninja in each fight which is ticking me off a lot. I always carry a fire type to deal with em.

I know, right? You seem to get it, though. Just curious; who was your team? I'm kinda old school, so I had an "invincible" Snorlax leading my team, along with Ursaring, Girafarig, Miltank, Tauros, and Raticate one year (yup, I was a "gym leader" competitor) in a small tournament.

If you were to go by "base stats" though, then anyone could say that any powerful physical attack would take Snorlax past the 50% line in one blow. However, gay ass stats don't help you win tournaments.

Base Stats are how much stronger Pokemon are to others in their six battle stats. Like Mewtwo having a high Special Attack because his "Base Stat" for it is higher than say, Alakazam or Espeon.

People knew of it in Gen I and II, but no one did any damn number crunching and algebra for it until lame-asses found out they could use it to get cheap wins in tournament/wi-fi battles. Basically, it's just a bunch of gay wads only using the strongest Pokemon.

If Mewtwo needs a TM (I don't know if it does or doesn't in the latest generation) to learn those moves, though, a wild mewtwo can't do much against an arceus with a plate. On the other hand, I don't think Arceus would have a plate if it's wild, so then it's back to the drawing board. I suppose it'll be a ''if, then'' discussion forever XD

I don't do Uber battles, so I won't say anything. Just saying Mewtwo is faster and has a really good sp.atk. A good IV EVd Mewtwo wouldn't lose so easily. Btw there isn't a normal plate, Arceus is a normal type when it doesn't have any plate.
