I have a question about TAP. I thought that level one TAP leaves balrog at a minus 1 frame disadvantage.

Isn't that hard to punish with Guile?

all the stuff in the video was done with auto block (on), and after recording the opponents moves, guard was pressed for another 4-5 seconds to be sure that it connected clean, and yes, it is hard to punish for guile and many other characters, TAP distance and charge time should be a factor too.

I main Rog, basically if you do everything this video says its near impossible for Rog to win. If I see a really good guile who knows how to punish, all I can try to do is random to shit to catch him off guard. Nice job

If only that were true, but it is not, sadly I have not mastered the stick yet, adapting to it, has been difficult for me, so I'm alternating between the stick and the pad, cause I'm not giving my best with the stick, even if I want to, my confidence in it is real low, as well as my performance, but I'll keep trying, cause I need to get better with it

very nice tutorial. One of my best friend main Balrog and we love having matches with eachother with our mains. Especially the anti air. Sometimes, only sometimes if I'm lucky I can ultra as he rush punshes

Would like to add; his non ex dash straights can be punished with st. lps and st. hp (though, online, that last one didn't work for me and I got punched in the face) - but lp worked. I just mash it whenever he rushes at me.

Anyway, I learnt quite a bit from this tutorial and balrog has lately been causing me a lot of trouble. So next time I see him, he's gonna meet my fists freedom and justice!

p.s; sucks that gamebattles screwed you over your fight money.

Yeah, st HP is good to punish some of Balrog's non EX dashes, but online you need to anticipate unless the Balrog player do the dash from the other side of the screen which is very unlikely.

Yeah, GameBattles robed me that money, just for being Colombian, not my words but them, they will not pay cause at the moment of winning the tournament I was in Colombia, like they didn't knew that from the very beginning, I even asked on the forums that at least the money should be given to charity, but no one responded.
