@stratocasterfranck know your comment is a month old but i'm not sure why people think john mayer is arrogant. He's extremely humble about his guitar playing. He always pays tribute to the masters before him, and in interviews he always plays down his playing ability. Not trying to start anything...just curious why people think he's so arrogant.

hey not to seem ignorant or redundant but why do all of joe's guitars have different style volume and tone knobs on the same guitar? is it a style thing or so he doesnt get confused between the volume and tone or the different pickups?

@feedback5010 you are mistaken, he has different styles for neck and bridge pickup, not volume and tone

i guess it's both style and to get a quicker handle on it on stage...

One of the things I really like about Joe is he is also a consummate student and fan despite his superstar status. You'll hear him reference Coltrane and a number of toehr players that aren't necessarily straigh tblues. I also love his passion for gear. He's a huge pedal collector, and guitarist.
