his enthusiasm is kinda cool, but he is showing disrepect to the players, the officials, and to the game itself by continually violating the rules of the game in an intentional flagrant manner (the rules require he remain in his coaching box, yet he constantly leaves the box and/or comes onto the court).
i played for coach basile for 4 yrs and i was on this team in the video. he is a great guy and my senior class put musselman bball back on the map and the class of '09 finally made it to states!!!! ill love this guy

Clearly a staged video. Why is the camera focused on the coach and not the team? Is he trying to make sure he looks like a coach? My advice, aim the camera to the action on the court, then maybe Musselman will find a way to defeat Martinsburg or Hedgesville on a regular basis. While the video was made in good fun, it shows a commitment to something other than W's. What if one of his players made a video on post basket celebrations? My money would be on him not tolerating it. Lead by example.

This is an awesome person. Not my coach, but he's my gym teacher. You have to understand people LOVE coming to our games to watch not only our team, but Coach Basile's antics. Hey, this guy was my gym teacher my sophomore year. He's an amazing gy, and an awesome coach. If you don't like the video, don't watch it. Musselman kids love it, and the community loves it. Go Basile!

This is an awesome person. Not my coach, but he's my gym teacher. You have to understand people LOVE coming to our games to watch not only our team, but Coach Basile's antics. It's funny and gets the team pumped up. Obviously it isn't a bad thing and he's fine with it. So seriously keep negative comments to yourself. Because our community likes it. If you don't, don't watch it. :]

Cool under pressure. Collected when things get tough. Ability to keep your composure when calls go the other way. These are the things we teach here......or wait.....no....act like a fool. Yea...just jump around and act like a fool. I don't know the man and am sure he is a decent fellow, however as an athletic director I would have trouble with his over the top theatrics. But hey, everybody WAS kung fu fighting!

ya true good call ballinwv2.. but i kinda saw this as humuliation.. sometimes when school boards see this they feel kids cant take the teacher and or coach seriously so they simply fire him.. but i guess it would be a great push for the team with enthusiasm
