Two of my favorite musicians in one place at the same time ... how cool is that? I heard Phil back in the 1960s-70s in the days of the Love Inn in Freeville NY ... remember that? And Jeff I knew from our Portland OR days ... love the nature photography, especially the oak leaf on water.
@theplanetariumscene Thank you again for sharing, this is beautiful. It is right up my alley. I teach stress management and relaxation classes and I use things like this :0)
Yay! I was at Laity Lodge when the two met. I heard the CD in the Cody Center earlier this year and it is right up there with some of my favorite ambiant musicians. (This particular one reminds me of Tim Story combined with Harold Budd).
Have been following Jeff Johnson since his earliest works were released. I have everything he's ever published. Probably the most underrated musician on the face of the planet.
Phil was part of Jeff's 1999 compilation "Sweet Burning Light", (a personal favorite). That they have teamed up is a natural and I'm looking forward to this release. Jeff is a Pacific North West treasure and it looks like he's gathering no moss. If you haven't made it to one of his Christmas concerts check it out.

Two amazing artists. If my book is ever published and a movie made of it, I want these two to score it!

Watching Phil play is always a humbling experience. Last year's Master & the Musician tour was incredible.
