Someone whose sister knew one of the band (Leo I think) sent it to me. I don't think it was meant for public consumption, which makes it all the better.
@Heston68 actually it's a take on the ricky kasso event where he and his friend stabbed to death another kid.he told the kid to say that he loved satan."macho me with pimply skin"
Mick Jones a true genius i wish there was more of these true pioneering characters about nowadays and less of the bull shit factor. I look forward to seeing him soon at Manchester to show these other boring fuckers how its done. Regards Steve sherwin

One of the best films ive seen for a while. I loved going to see them live and its great to hear that they are getting back together. Ace thanks for posting.
OK, great music but there are Keyboards and lead guitar solos I don't see anyone playing. when the drummer stands up to dance the drums still sound but he's not playing them...
this shit is real - another great song making fun of all those tipper gore freaks coming down on rock music during the mid 80's. classic social statements.
I wonder if they knew the significance of what they shot at the time...prob not. Amazing video...rare..truly a treat and real artists at work.. Not often you capture pure good chemistry and get to see these guys in their natural habitat...almost felt like a fly on the wall watching.
@tmschafer this is before the caps. Of course this depending on your geographic location as such as the vid is in 1984. But in TX. I didn't see any turned up caps, just backwards ones at the time.
They must have been psychic... this is basically a parody of some wankers doing a video in their bedroom and posting it to YouTube. Only it is about 25 years too early!
real time, no edit, miming to audio tape... very well done, highly amusing... great tune. Good practise for a live gig. Anyone here seriously thinks that was anything other than a mime is deluded... but by golly, they were absolutely bang on to the millisecond. Respect. thanks for posting.
the Clash were briliant, so were B.A.D! ....different man! .....changing times an all that shit.......same as Clash were a Punk band but they were no-where near the best! ....different angles different opinions.
They could of also gone by the name: "THE MASSTA GROOVSTAS", These chaps were the BEST thing i heard on the radio as a kid and even better now. They Holds Up. BIG TIME!
Awesome video---thanks for posting! I remember when this came out, and in an interview Mick talked about this song. It was a critique of the satanic/hardcore lifestyle fantasy imagery so prevalent in Heavy Metal music. Mick's point was that music is a VERY powerful medium, it affects people deeply, and that if artists fill kids' heads with shit, then don't be surprised when there's a "Sudden Impact".
Quality - takes me back. Time to re hang the old B.A.D. Poster back up. Took my brother to see 'em for his 16th and now my son is 15. Many thanx Heston 4 posting. Was due 2go see Dreadzone last October in desperate effort to get a B.A.D. buzz bak - but they Cancelled. Scotland too cold. Will look out for Carbon Silicon.
the camera movements in this video just add to the hilariousness!! XD

@notntusay Yes, the song is a satire on fans of Heavy Metal and their fondness for drugs, mysticism etc

Cool video, and definately a cool home recording of this song.
Woulda been cool to actually see them play it... however it's almost as good to see them ripped dancing around.
They go nuts at the end.

Love BigAudio but this aint one of my favourite tracks, why mime?
Don Letts gives it away on 30 seconds
superfour45 4 years ago
who's miming? this is nothing like the album track, so what could they mime to?
elevonic 3 years ago 3
Yeah, it ain't the album track but still pre-recorded and mimed to.
Don Letts comes in a bar too soon on the synth, then has a "oops" moment ...

A joke? Did you check the date when this was done? I don't suppose you spent much time in the 80's so there isn't much merit in your comment.
