  • I can smell the ganja in this video

  • Today's music owes so much to theses guys. Thanks for the upload!

  • Jesus, I just can't stop watching these. Definitely one of the twenty best things on YouTube. Cheers for putting this up.

  • does this count as working from home?

  • outstanding

    top post mate.

    love it

going to se BAD (again) 08/04/Manchester ;)

  • Mick Jones is the father of Milli Vanilli and of You Tube

  • cheers for that

  • True my brother/firend^^ MOORE!

  • well then, see that 's what I thought. It really is a great video.Where did you ever find it?~ v.

  • @notntusay

Someone whose sister knew one of the band (Leo I think) sent it to me. I don't think it was meant for public consumption, which makes it all the better.

  • they took thier Sabbath tapes as well.as in Black?! :)

  • @notntusay Yes, the song is a satire on fans of Heavy Metal and their fondness for drugs, mysticism etc

  • @Heston68 actually it's a take on the ricky kasso event where he and his friend stabbed to death another kid.he told the kid to say that he loved satan."macho me with pimply skin"

  • this is too kool.lol.yey go Mick He's still wit us. Living Legend.true.

  • Mick Jones a true genius i wish there was more of these true pioneering characters about nowadays and less of the bull shit factor. I look forward to seeing him soon at Manchester to show these other boring fuckers how its done. Regards Seve sherwin

  • Mick is awesome, I mean the clash, wow

  • One of the best films ive seen for a while. I loved going to see them live and its great to hear that they are getting back together. Ace thanks for posting.

    playhappy

  • OK, great music but there are Keyboards and lead guitar solos I don't see anyone playing. when the drummer stands up to dance the drums still sound but he's not playing them...

  • this shit is real - another great song making fun of all those tipper gore freaks coming down on rock music during the mid 80's. classic social statements.

  • I wonder if they knew the significance of what they shot at the time...prob not. Amazing video...rare..truly a treat and real artists at work.. Not often you capture pure good chemistry and get to see these guys in their natural habitat...almost felt like a fly on the wall watching.

  • Youtube can still be a beautiful thing, thanks so much for posting this.

  • Class.... Great Vid mate.... And Yeah I Agree... This is BETTER than the original.... Tho that was Great too :-)

  • Maybe I said this before but it's because of videos such as this one that I love YT... Hide and seek for a shock I can see that rock!

  • this video is truly excellent. is this before upturned-bill ball cap era or after?

  • @tmschafer this is before the caps. Of course this depending on your geographic location as such as the vid is in 1984. But in TX. I didn't see any turned up caps, just backwards ones at the time.

  • This seems to be the demo for SI so it probably was even before their first album.

  • Know summit? When I watch these BAD vids I don't have to think about the lyrics. I just go into autopilot mode and sing along.

  • Amazin,i was there and it was soo much fun

  • check BIG AUDIO DYNAMITE appreciation society page on Facebook . Some good posts etc

  • gret song!..great post punk!

  • they are so much fun it's fucking hilarious!

  • I've never seen this this is DOPE!

  • They must have been psychic... this is basically a parody of some wankers doing a video in their bedroom and posting it to YouTube. Only it is about 25 years too early!

  • mick jones....you r so nerdy...you rok xxxx

  • best footage on youtube! i have to come back weekly for my fix of jones and letts!brilliant.

  • Brilliant! This version is better than the original version! Look at Mick 2:23 x) He is Crazy!

  • @LolaZanna He is crazy. That's why I love him!

  • They are totally crazy but I love them anyway :-)

  • real time, no edit, miming to audio tape... very well done, highly amusing... great tune. Good practise for a live gig. Anyone here seriously thinks that was anything other than a mime is deluded... but by golly, they were absolutely bang on to the millisecond. Respect. thanks for posting.

  • Fabulous!

  • great mick and friends

    you are a genius

    colpogobbo myspace friends

  • ...can't see how....this is a great jam!

the Clash were briliant, so were B.A.D! ....different man! .....changing times an all that shit.......same as Clash were a Punk band but they were no-where near the best! ....different angles different opinions.

  • So much better than the album version. I cant get enough of this.

  • Cool video, and definately a cool home recording of this song.

Woulda been cool to actually see them play it... however it's almost as good to see them ripped dancing around.

They go nuts at the end.

  • That is an unprepared video. hahaha ;-)

  • They could of also gone by the name: "THE MASSTA GROOVSTAS", These chaps were the BEST thing i heard on the radio as a kid and even better now. They Holds Up. BIG TIME!

  • This is the best thing I've ever seen.

  • ill have some of whatever they're smoking

  • Love BigAudio but this aint one of my favourite tracks, why mime?

Don Letts gives it away on 30 seconds

  • who's miming? this is nothing like the album track, so what could they mime to?

  • Yeah, it ain't the album track but still pre-recorded and mimed to.

Don Letts comes in a bar too soon on the synth, then has a "oops" moment ...

  • Just looks to me like the keyboard isn't on at first

  • I'm off to talk to the trees.

  • thax for posting...BAD rule

  • brilliant, but they are so bombed out all of em, quality

  • Brilliant!

  • BAD was so underrated. :(

So good. Thanks for posting this.

  • Mick's looking just a wee bit coked up here.

  • Best thing i seen on youtube! Fantastic!!!

  • Isn't it? I miss BAD.

  • Awesome video---thanks for posting! I remember when this came out, and in an interview Mick talked about this song. It was a critique of the satanic/hardcore lifestyle fantasy imagery so prevalent in Heavy Metal music. Mick's point was that music is a VERY powerful medium, it affects people deeply, and that if artists fill kids' heads with shit, then don't be surprised when there's a "Sudden Impact".

  • marvellous i look like mick in his younger days and we share a christian name

  • Fabulous!

  • This isn't timeless, it's a joke

  • A joke? Did you check the date when this was done? I don't suppose you spent much time in the 80's so there isn't much merit in your comment.

  • ftw, and i'm not even a child of the 80s! big audio dynamite is so fun x3 love it!

  • love big audio, awesome clip, love the bass part
