Oh man, I really miss hearing this music on the radio and in the public environs. All you ever hear is the same pounding bass over and over & over & over . . . . . . . . . .!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whos the square i playing the black bass? LOL when your fellow rock musician does the duel guitar mode with you, you don't turn away from him and leave him hanging. Everyone here looks so uptight. Thanks for the benefit for a great great musician but loosen up dude in blue shirt
Most excellent..I miss the honesty that came from the groups from that era...a lovely recreation, very spirited. The Shills will be doing a cokeyed version Fri 13th Nov at Rusty's, should anyone want to stop down...I'm rockin out on lead guitar. Oh, the good ol days...
"My Little Red Book" was a great hit in 1966 by the Los Angeles rock group LOVE- featuring Arthur Lee as lead singer and guitarist... Elektra 45603 - Thanks, this one rocks!
It charted on the Billboard Hot 100 for eleven weeks and peaked at 52. Locally it was a much bigger hit in several markets. Info. quoted from Joel Whitburn's Top Pop Singles book. LOVE's follow up was a higher charting hit "7 And 7 Is..." Elektra 45605 sav
Without the major 7 chords, or I should say the proper chords, the song doesn't go very far. Don't get me wrong, this great, and I know most people rule out major 7's as easy listening, but that is a major part of the charm of this song.

Is anyone in this benefit band involved in the music business outside of buying records and musical instruments?

thanks for posting!
this comes very close to the original (which has been removed)
btw could it be that the backsinger of love is now the leadsinger? He looks similar (after losing some weight). Or am I mistaken?
