Merle Africa, the 9th MOVE prisoner has been found dead in her cell in 1998. No one knows for sure how she died, wether she's been poisoned or something.....but I believe she has died out of shrinking. Her life has been a very hard life, very tough childhood, and 20 years in jail for her wasn't something that was going to liberate her from her past wounds. She needed to be with the people she loved, with her husband Delbert Africa, with her MOVE family living a strong healthy life.

Move should be eligible before the board. They have served 30 years for nothing. They did not kill that cop another cop did. Where is the evidence to free Move, destroyed this should tell the public something. Are elected officals are corrupted also, think about what we have been seeing in the news. This happened years ago where they could get away with it. It's time for justice. Sorry for the way that all MOVE was treated in jail. We all have different beliefs and want to be respect.
Even if they did kill the cop...they didnt ALL kill him. I mean your ARENT supposed to be able to conduct law enforcement this way, but instead of sounding naive we need to understand that when a gun is cocked at your head, you aint playin nice anymore.
Were you even alive when all this happened? I was, and you're crazy if you think these folks should get parole. Do some research. Officer Ramp was not killed by friendly fire. Educate yourself before you blindly support something. You probably support letting Mumia Abu-Jamal out of prison as well.
I have done lots of research, and have several articles at move9parole(dot)blogspot(dot)com. Why don't you educated yourself instead of relying on the mainstream media?
Why don't I educated myself? Gee, that sounds grammatically correct. Trust me, I don't rely one iota on the mainstream media. If your user name is any indication, you have not done the right research. Mumia killed someone, he confessed, and now he is in jail. These MOVE members sought aggressive action against the authorities and ended up killing and injuring people. They have no remorse for what they did. At the end of the day, all these folks belong in jail.
Otherwise, I have done research and there is considerable evidence that Ramp was shot by police gunfire.
Re Mumia's confession---do you really believe it would take police over 2 months to report that? It is an obvious fabrication, and there were other examples of a police frame-up.
oh really aep? MOVE members sought aggressive action against authorities?who was attacking whose house then? 600 cops firing attacking unarmed and yes I say UNARMED MOVE people in the basement, and you say MOVE sought aggressive action? And don't forget that there were 12 MOVE members arrested, and 3 were released cuz the judge said if they renounce MOVE they'll be released. 9 refused, they be in jail. so it's NOT about the dead cop, it's about being a MOVE member. That was their ONLY crime.
Ummm..that "confession" was Remembered by the officer claiming to hear it months after the alleged incident. Sorry, its tough to believe that part of the po po's story. Somebody smoked faulkner but it wasent mumia.
Move was fucking bombed by the black mayor of phiadelphia which resulted in several city blocks of homes we burnt to the ground. If you are gunna defend that kinda shit you need to convert to islam or become a brown shirt.
ok, first of all,Mumia confessed?I know the story, it was told by 2 FOPs,that Mumia confessed, and they both said it 2 months later and said nothing on that day when Mumia was in the hospital. Now as for MOVE,you say "sought aggressive action against authorities"?Oh my...you really are well informed and educated!Lol...hundreds of cops come out to MOVE's home and try to KILL MOVE people AND BABIES,destroy the whole house almost killing MOVE people. That wasn't "aggressive assault" enough for you?
some time, fire has to be fought with fire, cops, and the so called authorities, have harrased african descendants, hispanic mestizos, native americans, and even poor white people for decades, someone had to do something about it....
The system has "thumbed their nose at their own laws"! This is sooo true when it comes to voices and minds of dissent in America. Ramona Africa is on point as always.
i think what they're not happy with is oppression, and oppression has no nationality.

So to you that believe MOVE deserves to be un-justly punished... You don't deserve the rights that people like us are willing to die for...
Crawl under a rock or something... Cause when the Revolution comes it's taking no prisoners...
