@lorenzol1996 The SP deals with an event that happened during WW2. So the first mission was a WW2 mission. DICE also made a recent game called BF 1943 (WW2). So its a throwback to both the SP and BF 1943.

This game isn't based on realism. It provides a semi-realistic environment. More fun than a pure realism game.

Other people have noted that it was the most realistic game ever because bullets drop, just saying that it's not.. shouldn't have looked at other videos and compiled my opinion on this videos comment page.

None of the kills in these videos took 50 rounds. The thompson has a 30 round clip. It shooting .45 pistol ammo. Not all the bullets hit their mark.

I takes roughly 5-8 hits to kill depending on the gun and less if played in Hardcore mode.

Really it only takes me 2 shots with sniper and 5 with assault rifle to kill a person. but then again i probably have good luck.

@LilNeeno619 That's about right for the sniper rifle. Not sure about the assault rifle. I just use the MG emplacements to shoot them down.

I just finished beating BC2 SP today and it was pretty good. I liked it over BC1 SP.

They are also referred as RPV, UAS, and drones. They are one in the same.

A weapon system doesn't need to look cool. It needs to get the job done, which the Fire Scout does.

I might suggest you actually seeing gameplay videos of players using the FIre Scout before you start bashing it.

It was more a practical choice than stupid one. It's one of the UAVs used by the US Army (you're playing US Army).

They choose the Fire Scout because they could add it into game and have it piloted by players and still be balanced. They can fly around and hover. Works well for the map design of BC2.

There is no fun in using Predator or Gobal Hawk if you have to keep flying in circles. If they went with those UAVs in the game they would not be pilot-able nor would it have any weapons.

drones aren't only piloted by thermals, they can free fly as well just not fast, and if they couldn't it would still be fun launching missiles at ppl with an AI pilot instead of extremely frustrating and confusing controls. So the firescout doesn't sound like a boatload of fun when u already have like 5 other types of choppers, nobody wants a mini worthless chopper, i'd rather have something thats DIFFERENT

Have you even played the game? The UAV is so simple fly.

The Fire Scout isn't worthless. You have a hellfire missile which can be used on tanks and infantry. You have an unlockable MG. You can also ram infantry to kill them.

Not only can the Fire Scout kill enemies it can be used as an advanced spotter for your team. Having someone spotting targets out for you while you're moving to capture an objective is very useful.

The way you use the Fire Scout is extremely different from the other helos

If you seen the size of these maps they aren't big round. Some are straight aways. You will need to fly in circles.

@superdupe8 no that isnt true, a UAV stands for unmanned aerial vehicle. So it could be any air vehicle, infact these UAVs are widely used instead of the high ones. Too much Modern Warfare 2 man.

Hopefully the final build will be more optimized. They ported Frostbite 1.5 over to the PC, a few months ago. So they still got to work out the kinks.

By the time they release BF3 with Frostbite 2, it should be smooth as butter with the experienced they gained from working with Frostbite 1.5 on the PC.

From what DICE posted on Twitter the high resolution textures aren't in the beta build. So it may look a tad or a lot better on the full release with High settings.

There is a Thompson and a M1 Grand in the game. From their recent BF 1943 game.

They were planning on releasing BF 1943 on the PC, but delayed it to focus on Bad Company 2.
