  • listen carefully at 17 sec. You can hear a whistle. Probably one of the refs thought they needed to watch the replay to see if it was a 3 pointer.

  • lady commentators.. haha

  • What. Looks like something that Coach K at Duke would do! Duke Sucks!!!

  • dumbass referee

  • defender reached out of bounds when he deflected the ball, another call tony missed

  • Tony Green may be the worst official in history, just awful.

  • what the FUCK

  • Comment removed

  • @truthbeeeetold Did you read the description at all?

  • @vaibanez17 I put the worst no call in there for you. But I think you understand what I meant.

  • the coach from the losing team looks as if he were about to take off on the ref

  • IDK I THINK IT WAS Because the didnt give the ball to the ref first

  • ive seen better refs at foot locker

  • is it meeh or do the refs need to read the basketball rule book again?

  • @HawaiianPride96706 It's the refs fault

  • @lakerskid2013 i knoe...das y i sed do the refs need to read the rule book again kuz the calls dat dey make is dumb

  • The uploader is right. The original non-call is debatable due to the inadvertent whistle. But what's not debatable is that the inbounder traveled on the last inbounds play, because after the Louisville player knocked it out of bounds, it was no longer inbounding after a made basket, which is the only time you're allowed to move as the inbounder.

  • I've made that same call for 5th graders but starting around 8th grade you have to call the violation.

  • Read the real explanation of what happened (above under "top comments"). When the Seton Hall player was first trying to inbound the ball, the ref inadvertently blew the whistle, which is why the player started walking onto the court. Then the ref told him it was an inadvertent whistle, so he tried to play on. You can't inbound the ball when your in bounds, so the ref took the ball from him and gave it back to him out of bounds, started the count over, etc.

  • so no wits .07 to go and Louisville needs a basket. Bad call, but not the worst bc game would have most likely still been won by Seaston Hall. lol we will never know. SHould have been called though.

  • If this were a HS game that ref would be lucky to get out without help from the paramedics.

  • when inbounding the ball you give it to the ref first. they didnt do that. so its not a no call

  • @backspace9112 you dont give the ball if you make it.

  • does he not look like Dave Chappelle?

  • SMH! WTF!!!

  • Refs fault not the players

  • Wow... thats absolutely hilarious.

  • there was a timeout called. Louisville called a timeout, but didn't have one. The confusion of this play came from the referees decision not to give them a technical for it. If he correctly called the technical, none of this would have mattered, so it was actually Louisville who caught a huge break here.

  • ive seen worst... player jumps over the kid dats got da ball and knocks him out wit a kick and its not a foul

  • The ref started doing the five second count! The ref doesn't necessarily have to touch the ball before u inbound it.

  • wow and i thought football refs were bad

  • The ref never took the ball after the shot was made. So when the player stepped over the line the ball wasn't in play yet. Nothing wrong happened here. The ball wasn't in play until the player gave the ball to the ref (after he stepped over the line.) Good no call.

  • @tydawley Wrong dumbass. After a made basket, the official DOES NOT pick up the ball. The team gaining possession takes it out then inbounds it. What happened is that the stupid official wasn't watching closely and thought the SH player never went all the way out of bounds with the ball (which he clearly did) so the ref told him he had to go all the way out first.

  • Now this ref deserves the body slam

  • i think they thought there was a time out, not his fault.

  • Being a certified ref that was about as bad of a no call as I've seen. If something like that happens at the beginning of the game ok cool warn him and give him the ball back but for a big east athlete to do that and for a big east Ref not to call that is absolutely nuts.

  • I'm a UofL fan and I remember watching that call and I almost threw my tv out my window

  • bullshit!

  • Absolutely no question that there was an inadvertent whistle! Well handled!

  • will i grow taller if i play basketball regularly ?

  • you can hear a whistle, IMO, very easily after the shot was made. look at the louisville players.

  • Im a kentucky fan & even i think thats ridiculous! But, if im pitino, after that the game was practically decided; they woulda had to drag me off the court after i woulda lit that ref up like a christmas tree

  • guys this is not bad... there was a whistle. Inadvertent sure, but there was a whistle. that changes this all to the ref's fault.

  • I have to agree

  • hahahahahha poor louisville

  • worst no-call ive ever seen. it must've been NBA refs refing this game LOL

  • wow,i play ball and that was a horrible inbound violation!!!

  • well it should have clearly been a violation for stepping over the line..however the second part wasnt him passing it back to the ref, he tried to throw it in bounds and it was deflected.

  • First time I have seen this play. If I had made that call in a Varsity HS game, I would have NEVER got a state tourney game. Yet, Tony Greene continues on.....

  • @mmurphy1133 If you wouldve done anything like this in a high school game I guarantee you parents wouldve stormed the court and you would have had to run out of that gym at the end of the game lol

  • @mmurphy1133 geez tony greene..i want to pull my hair out over that guy

  • It was the ref's fault, but not for the reason you think.

The ref didn't take the ball from the player after the 3 pointer was made.

    So that confused the player.

  • @JerryTastic But the refs never take the ball after made baskets since middle school. it shuld be registered in his head that the ref dont need it and even if he didnt kno, a violation is a violation

  • @JerryTastic you don`t pass the ball to ref after basket . Only after fouls , time outs etc ...

  • @JerryTastic once a shot is made you dont need to give it to a ref, you can just pass it in

  • @JerryTastic you dont have to give the ball to the ref after a made basket

  • @JerryTastic Whoever gave this dude thumbs up DOESN'T know SHIT about Basketball. You don't have to give the ball back to the ref after the opponent scores. This was the player's fault as much as it was the ref's.

  • @JerryTastic why would a ref take the ball from him after a made basket? that never happens

  • i was watching this game and i thought it was a horrible call aswell.

  • I was at the game. There was an inadvertent whistle from one of the refs, which is why everyone laid back. Everyone at the game heard it. Granted, this looks bad on TV but it would have been even worse had Seton Hall lost the ball. It was a screw-up on the refs' part.

  • im a kentucky fan and even i think it shoulda been Louisville's ball

  • @andersonch so am I and Tony Greene is the WORST referee in CBB. Rick should have lost his mind.

  • no one cheer, not even 1

  • i think the reason it wasn't a violation was because the player wanted to give the ball to the ref before the inbound and i'm not for either team im a mizzou fan

  • @vanfar15 TIGERS ALL DAY!!! :)

  • @damonwilliams100, yeap a fellow tiger fan, hard to come by today, but this year when we win the NC, we'll seee alot more tiger fans

  • @vanfar15 I know... and those are the band wagon faggots

  • im a huge UofL fan and I think Louisville got so cheated this game and year, the West Virginia game, Huggins got a technical, and then Louisville got 7 dtraight fouls and how many did WVU get? 0

  • WOW!! WTF!!! this is getting rediculous!!

  • dont forget the guy ran the baseline after swopshire deflected the ball

  • that was a clear violation...wow

  • Big East Refs are bad, gave the ball to West Virginia when clearly it hit a WV both times cant beat the Bad Big East Officials and the team.

  • Sosa tried to call timeout and there was a whistle blown a split second after the three went in.

  • Sorry, Sosa was clapping after the made bucket, not calling for a TO...

  • Sosa was trying to call a timeout not realizing they had any. You can clearly hear the whistle blown right after basket and the players starting to walk to the benches like its a dead ball. So, UL should of actually had a technical called on them before that even happened, because thats what threw him off anyway. So I disagree with this being a bad call since UL got away with calling for timeout with none left.

  • 0:15 that whistle you hear is why its no violation, Lawrence was thrown off, thinking there was a timeout.

  • no because then why did he try to inbound it? he was trying for a overhead pass. go cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if you notice the ref standing on the sideline, he's counting the 5 seconds. it's a violation.

  • The refs just can't miss a call like that, right in front of his face with the game on the line!!!! BS

  • And that wasn't the only missed call.

After the original violation, Jared Swopshire knocks the ball out of bounds and there's still .7 seconds left. Then the SHU inbounder moves along the baseline before inbounding the ball, which is also a violation.
