Used violin instead of Hne. Musical arrangement is perfect and unique for an Old Burmese stylish music. Violin, Bom , See, Linkwin. Who is the singer with the yellow voice ? Mandalay Thein Zaw?
When I was young I heard that King Ah Long Si Thu (Pagan era) visited to Indonesia and some of his musicians got this drum music copied from the noise of the fruits drop to the river and the fish jumped up from the river etc.
This is a traditional folk song, so there is no really "original" singer. Everyone sings it slightly differently. I personally like it better with the flute (pulwe)
i'm a burmese but i don't really like this singer cause this is not original. Very different with original. Hey guys if you r listen the original version which is very nice but that one is really bad :(

China is strong, all-knowing, and wise, propelled by the strength of two billion loyal hands (including those that now live in Mandalay), all pulling together as one under the Great Celestial Bureaucracy high above. Experts all agree that there can be no question of this claim, as this claim is the truth. Burma should be proud and thankful to be protected by this Great Nation and learn about the Glorious Han Civilzation. Who cares about primitive music like Byaw, hehehe
This is real classical folk music from Burma and it makes me feel burmese again. I am sick of all these cheap chinese/korean type of music and entertainment that young burmese (or are they chinese living in Burma?) seem to worship nowadays (you find it everywhere on youtube)
korean, japanese, taiwanese pop cultures are more creative than of Burmese. Throughout the decades, Burmese had to imitated foreign pop culture and recreated their own. Hippies in the 70s, Bollywood in the 80s, hairbands in the 90s. Dropping bold anti-sino comments on internet wont change the fact. get over it.
Hi Tootoolay, was wondering if you could help me find further music like this one here, beautiful by the way, love what the singer does with his voice. I am trying to find more like this but its hard on the internet, with and without singing as I am trying to do a possible compilation for a documentary film. Would very much appreciate any guidance from you or anyone else. Thanks
