I could not believe this was The Osmonds doing this song, I always pictured a lesser known hard rock band doing this song, I never really liked The Osmonds but always loved this song a lot, I can picture ZZ Top, Steppenwolf or BTO doing this song.
@TSconspiracy That's what I like about this song. It's not like they went "hey gang, let's try our hand at getting a little heavy, to see if we can pull it off!"
No, it's like on day one of them walked in going "guys, it's time to rock the fuck out. Turn it up to 11, let's do this."
For people who weren't around in the early 1970s when this song was recorded - this was the first time the general population first really got worried about environmental damage. (The first Earth Day happened in 1970).
This song is part of that concern, about the amount of pollution caused by cars. In fact I now remember that the album cover showed the Osmonds in a junkyard with piles of cars behind them.
This song is better then over half the shit that is out now !! The Os got heavy on us with this track !

This is for Kevin820:"Hey Mr Taxi" is on the Album/Cassette/CD titled, "The Plan".
It's a concept project reminiscent of the Beatles "Abbey Road".
