@strawjelly12 Check my multicolor alpha tutorial. It's that method for the most part, then you just need to look up how to make the letters.

It'll be a grid, each grid box is a knot. You could find the letters by googling Heather's Friendship Bracelets and looking through her alphabet stuff.

@21Trea your best bet would be to measure it around your wrist too tightly and then go ahead and knot it off your hand. tie it tight and stretch it around your hand! or have someone tie it for you :D

when you're done, how do you tie the end, then how do you tie it on your wrist???

okay when you complete it, you should have it pretty tight throughout the entire bracelet, if there is not enough slack to knot it, then you have a problem. So leave enough then do the same thing you did from the beginning, a basic knot. Then just tie those two ends together on your wrist, wet it, and let it dry on your hand over night. Then it will be loosened up and more compfterable to wear! :) Hope I helped

@love1ification yep, just go ahead and cut the extras, make a simple knot at the end and tie the two ends together :]

@love1ification Yes, its the same knot, and then you just tie those together and that takes the form of a bracelet. you can choose to have someone tie it to your hand, or tie it someone tight and stretch it to fit around your wrist. Also, making it wet if it's too tight will loosen it up and make it easier to slip onto your hand. Happy bracelet making :]

okay, well if you are reffering the the knots throughout the bracelet then what you do is take the color and make a '4' meaning the color you want to knot is going to go over the color next to it, and then the '-' part of the '4' will go under the triangle part of the four. then you will pull the knotting color up and this '|' color down, making the color you want to knot wrapping around the ''|' color.

if that makes any sense, just watch carefully for what i do. and if you were reffering to the knot at the end just take all four colors and tie a regular knot. just a loop. dont get yourself confused with the terms, just do what you know, i guarentee you its not wrong. GOODDDD LUCKK! (:

It takes quite a bit of time to get used too. i gaurantee you that you WILL mess up the first time. and as for length, go with 18 inches, longer is better.

they take me about 1hour if i do it all at once, but i ussualy break it up, like 3 sets or so a day and then its done in 3 days

it helps if you pull it tight every few cycles, like everytime you use your 4 colors twice pull it tight to stretch out the fabric, then continue on, then at the end run it under water to make it soft and plyable, that will take out some of the curl, once on your wrist and tied it will go away, good luck
