  • Nice video Scorpio. I was thinking, instead of the nasty Comet cleanser, have you tried Bar Keeper's friend?

  • @tattooyu actualy i got turned on too black iron sand dawn detergent? but to answer you no sorry i havent?

  • how long did you search for that?

  • @JanAppeldorn151 not long , i have a harbor freight store here in town that had what i wanted ...

  • cool thanks, and cant wait for your newest video.

  • thanks!

  • where did you get the rock tumbler?

  • i got it from harbor freight. if you dont have one in your area ..do a web serch for the online shopping page. very cheap tools and odd ball stuff. good luck!

  • great l will go out and get one

  • good, you will like the results.. thanks for commenting.

  • Thanks Scorpio. I too, have piles of clads (and my wife has mentioned it more than once). Looks like I'll be getting a tumbler this week. :-) I really enjoy your videos--maybe I'll be posting some soon. I just haven't figured out the logistics of digging and filming at the same time yet.

  • thanks for the comment and tell your wife that once you get the tumbler , the coins will be nice and clean to spend..maybe that will make her happy...lol

just keep trying to film and dig. at some point you will get the hang..it took me a while too...wasnt easy...good luck and good fortune!

let me know when you posted a vid and i will watch it.

  • So- Quick question! Won't this gravel tumbling scratch your coins? Thanks for posting!

  • no not at all. the rocks are all ready soft polished. all they do is rube the coin and that in turn removes the dirt and other stuff.

  • Nice tumbler!Great job on the first try with the new tumbler!

  • thanks, i still need to fiddle with it, some of the coins still needed to tumble more. but i think its a winner

  • Great Job Scorpio, Sometimes the clad takes a little longer than the pennies, but like you said , you have to experiment with a few batches to get the results you're looking for. Nice video and nice job, HH LaDigger

  • thanks ladigger, your video was a great insperation to me and sound advice , thanks for making your too !

  • Nice tutorial! Not very many coin tumbling videos out there. I like yours and LaDiggers'!! We need more of them!

  • i thought ladiggers was better but i did my best, im just glad that i now can clean my clad and not worrie that they are going to pick through them for being dirty..

  • cool vid! 5/5

  • thanks!

  • thanks , now all i need to do is roll it and wait till i have enough to turn in.

  • Well Hun it makes a little noise but it did a good job...It nice to get the clad cleaned up and see what you got...
