I cannot believe some of you didn't watch the full anime just because some team with a pretty motorcycle girl died. THAT'S NOT THE POINT OF THE ANIME. It's DEFINITELY worth watching!!!! The story is EXTREMELY touching! That possessed girl, Yomi, ISN'T evil. She cared about her little sister so much she was willing to sacrifice herself for her! You're an idiot if you don't watch the full anime just 'cause some team died. Seriously, I recommend this anime.

@Yaphora I agree, you have to watch the whole thing to understand. It's not the first time something has been directed with the part of the ending before the rest. Some people are pathetic and don't understand the multiple forms of art, like story, I hate linear story lines and this is a great anime and story to go with it.

I don't get what it's with people and these guys dying! A LOT of movies and TV series to these kind of things! They lead you down a path and then takes a sharp turn just as the episode ends to make you go: WTF?! And then watch the next episode too.

Damn, I was totally confused, thinking that they had their own shown to begin with and just went onto Gai Rei zero as some sort of crossover, only to be killed off. A thing an animator should always ask to there producers is "Wait, will my characters I spent practically 3 months working on be killed in their first appearance?"

The only reason I continue watching the show is the cool opening and the guy who uses the suitcases to fight is sexy ^_^

I loved that anime but it had so many plot holes D: why did they kill those guys off?? i loved them! the biker chick + the double pistol guy were totally gonna be making out by the end of the anime IF THEY HADNT DIED IN THE FIRST EPISODE FOR NO REASON!

@Spoofy32 it wasnt a plothole it was called being creative they purposely did that to hook people into the show, having everybody think that they were the mains,while at the same time showing the end of the series at the beginning so everything clicks better in your mind to find out what was going on

@Spoofy32 well that wasn't the intention, surely it will leave some dissatisfied, but i thought it was a bold move personally, showing the events of episode 10 from the perspective of a random squad and then have everything slowly come together, it was a fresh way of writing that wasn't usually seen. Keeping one guessing till the end when all of the blanks are filled is a trick novel authors usually use. It made me think of Yomi in two different ways, yes she was bad in the end but there were

@Spoofy32 good reasons for that, having the whole section four team offed was supposed to represent her descent in a different way, and encourage people to learn why she became like that.

It made me appreciate the series more that the creators were willing to take risks like that...the series wouldn't have resounded as greatly to me if they had just done it regularly and had the the series start off with episode 3

the characters you see here are only minor characters that got wasted. the real mains are yomi, kagura, and natsuki and if they are going to make another ga rei than we get more mains. this anime your going to see them get beat to death and come back alive alot.

the 4squadron were really good up untill the met up with yomi and well they weren't fighting a monster they were fighting on of them, thats the worst when your on a mission and your allies turns out to be an enemy and you need to eliminate them, actually 4thsquad had no warning of that, they had to adopt a new plan or die and thats what happened
