Really, I think this person is a good pianist, it's just the piano's sound that makes the notes sound really harsh. It's in both the left and right hand notes, for quite a lot of the song, so I don't think it's just his/her fault.

@hannakim8431 i'm not sure it's so much his (her?) technique more than just the recording equipment and the timbre of the instrument. some pianos just sound brassy. that's why it's some piano performers ship their pianos to venues (but really just the superbly finicky ones).

I sometimes play Chopin's Etudes or Fantasie Impromput really fast or slow or watever I like depends on my mood. maybe he was excited or very happy when he played that. or everytime he plays piano. if you like it the other way, why don't you guys post that video in pianishmo or watever.

parkyk90 I TOTALLY agree with you on this one. As a fellow player myself I can understand his playing forte, NOT just because of how he may feel but I take my lessons on a similar piano that has the same height of keys, and this type of piano is very difficult to play softly ESPECIALLY for waltz's. It requires a lot of concentration on technique to play waltz style any softer than forte on this style of piano. So cut him some slack he did a beautiful version of this song. Good job!.

@huijijui well i really liked this. yeah its you oppion but then again you have to think about it could also be his camera. my camera, when i play my flute, would always mess up the sound. and if its not that at least he knows the song he probably wanted to just show ppl that he can at least play the song because that is a pretty hard song to learn. but not only that each musician has his own way of interpreting the song and making it there own style.

While playing piano could help the melody sound soothing and beautiful, playing it forte and turning the volume down could sound like a train wreck muted by sound cancelling headphones. its not the same.
