  • I do the van damne conditioning from bloodsport. Works dude

  • Quality stuff! The guy is a legend.

    Thanks for this.

  • i ve seen some comments here complaining about his workout..people u re talking about a man who has been a champion,a pro kickboxer, dont u guys think he knows what hes doing way better than u

  • @1789crazy Probably does, nobody in their right mind will doubt that JLB knows what a workout is, but what he does at 3:00 - 3:17 looks like he's taking a piss at the viewers, to get a good laugh if someone immitates that. I know I would. ;-)

If I remember right, that movement controls a few back and shoulder muscles that really don't do anything unless you're making that movement with serious weights in your hands.

  • me aburroooo

  • the originall kickboxer

  • pure fibre :)

  • how did he get that big? not with this kind of work out for sure

  • @StrongerThenYOU1923 this a warm up before training weight lifting im sure got him that big

  • not the best fighter but shurley one of the most spectacular and entartaining fighters. A legend who inspired manny fighters i'm shure of that.

  • =0

  • @matiseq if its MMA, brock would have a better chance. K-1, obviously le banner

  • What is that hes doing after the push ups where he crosses one arm across and lays on it?, is that a stretch?

  • @grzegorz7827

  • He must be very strong. A fighter that goes around at +118kg but can move so quickly, that is amazing.

  • lebanner lift 352lbs at bench press

  • a warm up has a lot to do with conditioning my friend

  • I agree with dark2233. This is definitely a warm up!

  • nice music :P

  • In my opinion , this is just a warm up ..

  • cool.........

  • lol the music makes it asif hes now training in a movie getting ready to fight some bad guys

  • @Lollertron Yeah it sounds like a 80's action movie or something.

  • @Lollertron hahaha

  • @Lollertron he is the bad guy ;)

  • You see? This is why there's no excuse for not getting in shape. If you have carpet or a floor mat, you can do these same exercises. You don't have to pay for expensive gym memberships. Add a bag workout and/or shadow boxing and you can get the physique like this fighter.

  • Yup :o)

I put an iron bar in my doorway, and thats nice for all kinds of chin ups... You are right, people should stop complainin, this kind of training 20-30 minutes a day is enough...

  • @StreetFighter2010

Not really. I'm pretty sure he lifts weights also. You cannot build muscles that large without increasing your load.

But for overall fitness and conditioning then yes, basically all you need is floor and soemthing to hang from (chins/ pullups).

  • Yes you most certainly can. You just have to find the right exercises to target all key areas. By the way this boxer is not really all that big (in terms of muscle mass), and is only doing a small fraction of available floor exercises. There's a guy in my neighborhood who is bigger and more ripped than that boxer and does only calisthenics. Also, check out CALISTHENICS KINGZ.

  • how do you do this after punch kick mitts or before??

  • After

  • good

  • @biteofreality777 Before

  • @biteofreality777 I would have thought before because they are like general warmup as well with dynamic stretching, basic stretches and basic shadow boxing moves.

  • le banner doesn't exercise, exercise does him.

  • "When Fedor exercises, the machine gets stronger" an old saying from the jungle. I guess the same applyes here.

  • right

  • dommage les commentaires sont pouraves mai bon.....

  • Light weights do help me. But I know thaiboxing and intensive bodybuilding are two incompatible things)

  • dont confuse bodybuilding vs lifting weights for strength gains

  • yeah you are right!

  • came across this video , just wondering whats the diff between exercise and conditioning exercise ?

  • conditioning is more intense/faster, more aerobic... you build more of getting use to the intensity... for example regular exercising such as push ups but if you are conditioning you do it more faster and more explosively

  • cool thanks

  • Eisern Union!

  • The question about weightlifting is like asking what kind of tyres you use for your car. It all depends on your current workout aims, different for everyone. In my club me and my friends used to do some weight training after our workout (chest press, squating, deadlift-no isolated exercises), but we limited it or gave it up in favor of heavy bag drills. But this was proper only for few people as a part of wider plan. Every induvidal needs different approach he must find himself

  • that was one of the wiser things I've heard about strength and conditioning for combat sports. I'm surprised to see it on a youtube comment.

  • there is no real reason to train muscles to stand out or look good like a bodybuilder most just train cardio and other endurance exercises

  • i ll really appreciate if someone answers...

Do kick boxers lifting weights ? i mean do they lift for to grow biceps or chest exercises?

  • yes kickboxers do lift weights for strength and power, most dont try to pack on muscle. except for guys like melvin manhoef who looks like a body builder

  • En shape tu dit!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Hahaha cool! I have that DVD! Jerome le Banner, the best fighter who never (sadly) won the K1.

  • Oh yes my friend =)! he won K-1 gp 2000 and k-1 20001

  • whats tha workout he does at 3:03 do??

  • rear delts

  • The Punisher xD

  • Any particluar reason he doesnt do full push ups near the beginning?

  • Isolates the chest part of the movement.

  • This is good stuff, I've been adding this warm up now before I lift and I love the routine.

  • gbh

  • Those stretches in the end look painful.

  • Only if your not flexible, I can do those now that i run and properly stretch.

  • well i can do a split after 2 months of training... believe me... if u can do that u wont feel anything.

  • what...really? those are simple toe touches. lol

  • Looks like a great warm up routine. Thanks for the video.

  • when??

  • Thats guy is fucking tall,!

  • 6ft 4 120kg I think.

  • Great! Thanks!!

  • He is a beast!

  • i think it is lebanner warm up

  • Lesnar and Lebanner are the same size. Both 6'3 265lbs. But Lebanner is a far more superior striker with 1 hit knockout power and alot of experience on his hands. If they were to fight i'd have my money on Lebanner.

  • i agree, but you forgot he is also alot faster and agile. lesnar beat randy just because of his size.

  • no, randy is up in age severely. It wasnt the same Randy that did a comeback and demolished Sylvia and Gonzaga... In Lesnar fight, you could see that he is done. Its better to retire when appropriate and not become someone like Ken Shamrock

  • i think randy has 1 more in him at a push but i agree man. in the lesnar fight i thought randy looked scarily frail compared to the Randy that took out sylvia. Really frail. He just looked feeble it was horrible to watch. Really slow aswell

  • frail?? off course he looked frail in comparison to a behemoth like lesnar that guy is like sliverback gorrila. randy is also a natural LH. randy was doing good in that fight at a piont he even took lesnar down for like few seconds his stand up didnt look half bad. but lesnar is a like character out of a comic strip or some anime. his size is hard to handle in mma. but i still think he as 1more in him then he should stop.

  • Dont mean to be a smart ass but the title should read La Banner-Work out

    Cos this is not conditioning.

  • pushups and situps??? to think all this time i coulda been dominating the japanese circuit..*sigh*

  • CroCop lose. Le Banner won.

  • BRETON

  • dobre... pozdro

  • He's a fucking beast!!

  • jerome is the best fuck the rest....

  • what's the song in this video? it's cool!

  • Jerome LeBanner is one bad dude. He is a vicious fighter, in Kicki Boxing, K-1, and now MMA. His fights are always exciting. Unfortunately, he was never the same after Ernesto Hoost broke his collar bone, but he is still one of the top fighters of all time. Fearless.

  • i was at first a fan of crocop, but know i like lebanner..

  • a fight between cro cop and lebanner were previous. but the croatian has been injured. Cro cop, too is not the same since he is gone from UFC...i like a lot this fighter. Your pronostic between Cro Cop 103kg & Lebanner 120kg??

  • crocop was not the same since he won 2006 gp

  • great stuff

  • respect to champ.jerome lebanner.

  • he got muscles! he is tall! and he knows Muay Thai, for me he is unstopable...

  • u forgot schilte the guy from holland... he has the same things as jerome but he is 2.18 meter tall... he is truly unstoppable...

  • *correction* schilt got his ass kicked by aerts + he is 2.12.. still a great guy/fighter tough

  • unstopable in k-1 maybe.he will get ownd in my sport, witch is the great sport of mma.

  • jerome le banner would stomp anyone in the ufc hands down

  • hahaha your funny its funny how pepl like you can talk out of your ass the way you do.hes been fighting in mma and losst his firt fight to Tadao Yasuda!!of all peppl! and his next fight was a draw to bob FUCKING sapp! again i will give him all the respect as a kickboxer but not as a fighter.

  • On sait tous que lebanner a dominer bob sapp dis pas n'importe quoi

  • ok if you can reed english why dont you spell in english?

  • ????

  • He said."Because he speaks french! Lebanner is french! France is not the USA!"

  • Cro Cop and Lebanner, in 1999 i think, have already fight together. but the havent't the same physic lol!! Now, i don't know wh would be the better because Lebanner has more 17kg than crocop but he is not a specialist in MMA, and Crocop is not really the same actually....

  • you can't spell in english (reed) only messing with you ;)

  • who the fuck gives a shit about you on who you will give respect or not. Youre a fucking stupid faggot. Just go and suck some shit fucking garbage.

  • Lebanner is not a specialist in MMA...Despite of he has the same physic of Lesnar, he is not really able to go in UFC or Affliction for example...

  • i agree,

i think as soon as le banner would be on the ground he would have lost the match

although hes one of the greatest K1 fighters to me

  • tbh i think that lebanner could do pretty well against lesnar

  • if he trained bjj as hard as he does kickboxing who knows

  • when and where is this from?

  • that's one scary dude

  • one of the 'baddest' men that ever stepped in a ring. much respect -LeBanner!

  • the guy is power

  • thank's:)

  • What name this song??

  • There's only 1 word: RESPECT ;)

  • let me remind you that JLB have almos 40 years old

  • what does CONDITIONING exactly mean?

  • i want little more mass then jerome. want to be as strong as possible.i want ca 140 kgs at last. maybe more, but i think more would look a little bit fatass like ;)

  • when i look at jeromes body i can say that hes ca lifting 50 kgs.lol, but i had no chance vs him because i start with bone harding tomorrow and i have no figthing expirience.jeromes the KING!

  • i trained every day for a month and have become no muscles, then i trained only every 3 day and i have become much muscles. you can become all 3 months+ 50 kg with each hand.i train now 6 months and im by 105 kg with each hand

  • That's because of cardio. What is affected is more mass than muscle. I read that JLB now only trains 2 times a week, which is strange b/c all others train at least 5

  • because of injury i think , he train lesser to minxum injury

  • guys, cant you read? this video means conditioning and not muscle building. this exercises are for conditioning and not for building muscles.sure he do lift weights, but he does the same mistake like most sport mens, he trains every day...but you become muscles faster, if you train only every 3 day

  • @hacedorbebeatz it would bring more if you would do it only every 3 day because the muscles growing not by training, they growing by regeneration.by harding your bones its the smae but bones need more regeneration.only hard your bones all 10 days, and you will have 10 times more results

  • thanks for sharing your lifestory- now who the hell cares?

  • Well in that case, Add more to your workout in order to become tired again. noob!

  • I do this every morning, after sex of course.

  • Are Le Banner and Fedor just genetically gifted? They don't weight train and just do push ups and your standard bodyweight exercises but are built like tanks (although they probably do a hell of a lot)

  • If you do brief, intense workouts throughout the week, your body reacts by secreting more hormones and the result is a much more muscular chiseled physique. Genetics is also a very big factor, however. MMA fighters do not train specifically for size, though as they want to have an ideal balance of strength, endurance, explosiveness, flexibility, and speed.

  • Very useful!

Are you sure they dont weight train?

  • Most modern day MMA fighters incorporate some form of resistance training into their routines even if it's just bodyweight exercises. Crossfit is another great regimen which incorporates Olympic lifts, sprinting, gymnastics, and bodyweight exercises at high intensity. BJ Penn uses this program to prepare for fights and a lot of high profile fighters use some form of it for fight preparation.

  • I'm not sure about le Banner. Fedor used to weight train but he only does body weight exercises nowadays. Guess God doesn't make everyone equal...

  • i'd LOVE to see Sylvia vs Lebanner

  • thats an excellent match-up i reckon lebanner?

  • lol you can't count tim sylvia out, as much as i hate that clown, he still a tough guy to fight

  • i actually like him! but look at this guy hes a lean mean red-neck wrecking machine:)

  • hahaha lets hope so! Tim Sylvia vs Jerome Le Banner for UFC 86!

  • LOL @ Lebanner calling out Sylvia. Tadao Yasuda choked Jerome out and his losses vs Sefo and Hoost are highlight reels. This guy has taken one too many to the head to think he can hang with Big Tim.

  • You really think Timmeh could hang with Jerome LeBanner on the feet? I think Sylvia would win an MMA match if he took it to the ground, but on the feet Timmeh is getting KO'd.

  • Vids like this make life much more enjoyable. (Just like pizza.) Thanks for sharing, czarImperia.

  • GREAT FIGHTER!!!

  • cool

  • I've seen David Hasselfhoff do some of those exercises and eat a hamburger at the same time.
