  • nice video.. keep it up thanks for sharing ..

  • it was believable up to the part where those weird creatures showed up

  • Great job! I love the use of mixing CGI with reality to create a totally different set of environment.

  • As a demo, this is first rate! As a practical application, I don't think playing Mario in narrow streets like this will be popular with the general public. You also show AR gaming in a public park, which is where almost all gaming takes place in physical reality, anyway. The colored lifeforms were just a bit creepy, but if you can see them, you can filter them out, so that really is a personal issue. I did like the building dedicated for AR or VR as well.Thats a potential money maker.

  • hmm running through the streets and jumping to mario music? Yeah that sounds like fun!

  • cool. computer graphics to put some animations in a video. that's never been done before..

  • Can't wait until the day when architecture schools start teaching architecture again and forgo the bullshit.

  • Very cool. ;)

  • It would be cool if it was really augmented reality.

  • augmented architecture my ass! it's MARIO!

  • lol

  • 空中固定は難しい

  • solo vi la mitad y eso no era realidad aumentada, no se si lo era la segunda mitad, lo q pasa es q me aburri

    pesimo video

    ¬] mln

  • me gusto, me parecio muy interesante!!!!

  • lol, hey quckosaurus, i discovered your videos. PHWOAR.

  • I love this, very well made and good expression of different kinds of applications for AR tech. Now let's just hope developers keep this in mind and start working harder on making cheap AR technology. :)

  • This is architecture with LSD

  • Seconded.

  • thirded

  • yes

You still have to draw precisely, large emphasis on it still. if you cant do the basics then theres no point.

  • Do you have to know how to draw precisely or is it all autocads these days?

  • haha wierd , there are so manny things that are happening all the time that sometimes or at one moment of the day one can feel like that .

  • 3 things:

1.what happen to all mario score at earlier stages when he got into the building?

2.yeah, its kinda creepy , the yellow blob thingy, with kiddy sound? reminds me of 'the IT' movie.

    3. the use of curtains in the building, kinda lame.mech. door fits better

but it was awesome experiment! thanks!

  • Thanks for the comments.

    1. After the opening Mario game, he actually switched channels many times. This hypothetical AR scenario proposes a system that allows many channels of AR environment, which takes the whole idea of space sharing up another level.

    2. Yes there's overdoes of that

  • if u went on the streets like that people will think ur drunk walking side to side and jumping lol

  • what shil!!!!!!!

    porkeria

  • Is it just me or was that kinda Creeeeeepy at the end?

  • Great example of augmentet reality. The sound effects were a bit silly though.

  • FAAAAAAKE !

  • yes friendly peoples comment, i think this IS fake.

  • worlds worst disasters

  • Where's the acid trip world?

  • imagine using that.... ON acid. i cant even imagine.

  • um coco

  • 2) Quant à la technique, j'ai utilisé Cinema4D pour l'animation, After Effects pour les superpositions et les personnages filmés sur fond bleu, et bien sûr Premiere pour le montage.

  • geez... didn't know there were so many comments.

    1) This IS fake AR. Unfortunately AR technology is still not perfected enough, with many occlusion problems. But it is going to be a revolutionary technology. I'm only an architect, not a AR IT expert. What I tried doing here is to show the spatial potential of this life changing technology, which the real people researching it don't seem to do a good job in marketing.

  • I think that this fake...

  • i have no idea wtf i'm looking at lol

  • insipide et anecdotique

  • this seems fake, is this real augmented reality or just a "hypothetical"

  • how do you do augmented reality? I want to do it

  • i think it started off in a rather insipid way.. but gradually picked up.. interesting work all in all! i liked the meandering through the museum and the water filling up bit. actually found myself on the verge of holding my breath!

  • SUNNYSUNJU - What did you think of the top-side netting technique?

  • nice job.. very cool!!

  • For it to be augmented reality every person must see the same augmented reality. So the actors fooling around in the cameras view can't see what the camera man is seeing - making it rather pointless.

People walking around in an augmented reality museum/world they can't see and touching stuff? Bizarre..

  • it would be class if thy made games where you stand on a little tredmil thing that allows you to run without moving and you put on special goggles and you see a virtual world and you are in the game so if it is an army game you have a virtual gun in your hand and you wear a suit that reacts to your movments :)

  • Seems much more like a fake than a real augmented reality video...

  • coolll. i really like the part on.

  • LOL WHAT

  • bullshyyt !!! dats all i have to say !

  • q baina se metieron pa acer eso????

  • I like the pink tree abstraction

  • Nice use of Star Trek sound effects. That's all I've got to say.

  • les incustation Video de bonhomes dans la 3D...? c avec final cuT?

  • tu les as faite avec quoi les textures vidéo?

    Jean de l'ENSAV

  • Augmented reality is cool mixed with virtuel earth

  • this is a thesis project? A messy Rhino model with random crap flying around and jerky fly throughs?

  • I recognise this street, I was there! Its in Paris Monmatre, isnt it?

  • that is possibly the most pointless, ill-concieved, and implausible video I have ever seen on youtube. Good job. (I hate the fact that I cannot express my sarcasm in that last sentence :()

  • It looks like all you did is put a bunch of special effects in. In the weird white building none of the people look real.

  • crazy~

  • Fucking amazing!!! Were not to far away from having this technology in normal ever day to day life.. Man kind has certainly evolved..

  • Amazing

  • good work!

  • this technic will change the world...

  • those thing poo flowers!! it must be utopia

  • towards the end reality decays into a horrible nightmare world!

  • zyquck, thanks for presenting your work at Rojak#7 Penthouse One Pearlbank.

  • who ever that made this video must have been real bored..

  • This is amazing!

  • Amazing
