  • As a proud Aussie supporter, I must admit I love the Barmy Army, I reckon what they do for cricket is magnificent and I love the banter with them. Makes for a great day of cricket.

  • had lunch with Matthew Hardy today

  • we english just love are cricket , we sing and dance and have a good time . I think the ozzys love the barmy army

  • BARMY ARMY!

  • we are the army the mighty barmy aarmmy!!

  • Team work = england

They proved it... I became a english fan from this ashes.

They played brilliantly and wonderfully all the innings. Every team member is like a star. It is truly appreciated.

    Barmy army rocks, england rocks

By the way i am from india ... Ashes 2010 - 2011 is the best i have ever seen.

  • The Aussie bloke at 2:00 is bang on right: our fans, like out team at the moment, are utter shite in comparison to our English counterparts. While the Barmy Army belt out crackers like 'Swann Will Tear You Apart' or 'God Save Your Queen', all we can bleat in response is the mindless, bogan 'oi, oi, oi', which is a Welsh chant anyway.

  • @mgo26 meh australians are bogans, but we definately need some new chants. aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi is quiite shit.

  • @wanguskhan97 I know, I reckon thats the most overrated and bogan chant ever. We need more choruses and more NOISE

  • Great video. I wish football rivals could get on this well.

  • Just fun songs after everything said and done, we love australians really.

  • 2:03

I didnt't relise Peter Siddle was watching the game instead of playing

  • whats the matilda one about?

  • @tahreem116 just Waltzing Matilda (an Aussie song/anthem of sorts) with Barmy Army Lyrics,

We All Shagged Matilda, We All Shagged Matilda, We all Shagged Matilda and so did our mates, and she moaned and she groaned and she took it up the Billabong, we all shagged Matilda and so did our mates!

  • @tonyoffpompey thank you

  • lmao at the last chant from the english guy...bahahahahahahahahaha dear me seriously let them do the chanting and let us concentrate on wining..these poms come out with good sh*t...we might need to pinch few of them force aussie citizenship on them and force them to write few of these chants if we seriously want to have a chantoff otherwise lets keep on playing the chantless fans.looooool

  • the reason because we've got lots of good songs is because a lot of cricket fans are football fans so they transfer across the tunes, and change the words.

  • Comment removed

  • None of the fans come out looking too well from this one. Poms or Aussies.

  • @CDLancs Shhh now mate

  • If anybody takes the Barmy Army's songs seriously, or thinks there's any genuine malice towards Australia in them, they need to lighten up!! A lot!!

Loads of English go to Australia and vice versa, and everybody gets on well!! I've met plenty of Aussies in London and they're all great people.

When the banter gets taken seriously it'll be a sad day for cricket.

  • soooo very true!!

  • I don't take offence to any of them. I think the chants are quite clever and witty. The Aussies on the other hand are shit at chanting. But I guess we don't need to be decent supporters when our team win the majority of the time, anyway :D

  • oooh fighting talk!!! Bring on the winter!! (or summer.. depends if you live in the 'sunny paradise' or not :P)

  • Damn straight, mate. Nah hopefully you guys can give us some competition at the end of the year haha

But seriously, if Cook captains then England will be a laughing stock. He's too bloody pretty, the Aussie fans will have a field day.

  • @usernamedbadly

Absolutely. It's all meant in seriousness. Two of my cousins were at day 3 yesterday, and the English started singing "We are the army, the barmy army" towards the end of play and when they stopped they got some laughs and applause from the Aussies around them.

  • i love the shackle draggers! aussies are all ok.

And the song "we all live in a sunny paradise" isnt quite right most of the aussies live in england lol and i think theres probably more poms than shackle draggers in western aus lol

  • w.a was almost not even going to be considered as part of Australia as 1 stage lmaooo

  • whats the 'offical' website

  • shutup fukhead.

  • How gay/camp does that guy look and sound at 2.05

  • aaaaaaaala... ;p

  • Manou Manou da da da da da hah

  • Great to see some banter between the Aussies and Poms. End of the the day, it's only a game. Diggers and Tommies coming back from Afghanistan in boxes right now, while it an Ashes battle it's not the end of the world is it? Great to see Punter get the record. Class act. As a Pom I flt ashamed he was booed as he walked on for his innings. That was ordinary behaviour. Aussies always welcome here in the UK. Great video 5/5.

  • @tkw251070 fucking shame this doesnt spill into the Border-Gavaskar series, too bad english isn't our 1st language :/

  • Stuart Broad DOES look like a lady!

  • No, Broad looks like the blonde kid from the Harry Potter films

  • That is quite debatable...

  • The Milky Bar Kid?
