a better version of this exercise to to place two dumbells on the floor either side of you and bend down as you would to deadlift and pick them up. Any new athlete watching this video, i would suggest you do not bend like this as it will place ample strain on the knees
I don't think biasing the squat forward like that is a good idea. Weight should be back in the heels, shins should stay as close to vertical as possible. Feet should point slightly out and knees should track over them. The crease of the hip should dip below the height of the kneecap. The squat form in this demo will put excess stress on the knees and the IT band.
