Thank you for this set of videos! I've been trying to figure out Swype for a few weeks now, and I learned a ton of stuff from your web page with all the videos about Swype.

This video shows double tap in portrait mode. You know what'd be cool?  If double tap actually *worked* in portrait mode.

I have 2 problems (I'm on android):

- when I double-tap on a word I'd like to correct, it does not give me a popup menu of options, it just turns orange

- when I try to reswype a word that's highlighted orange, it leaves an additional extra space between the reswyped word and the preceding word.

@oaklandj ...Try pressing the Swype symbol at the lower left hand corner then go to Options then down to Word choice window. You may need to move the slider towards Always. You probably have it at Never.

@ladyvee7110 Thanks for the advice, but it still didn't work. Both of those problems persist.

@oaklandj ... Maybe you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Sometimes that helps.

I've got a buck says you're Swyping in portrait mode. Try in landscape; double tap should work there.  I'm not sure why, but it's a known issue. Me too.
