I believe this is Bruno's first F1 start(practice) 1977. He didn't fuck up at all. He tried to help a small team that's all.
After driving for Alfa either he didn't need the money or just didn't get any offers from other teams. Other then GV#27, Bruno was the most exciting and fun driver to watch. He was always my favorite!
@KillerDreck89 No, you said that by joining Life, he ruined his career. I don't think so, the guy had been out of F1 for 7 years, his career was already over before he joined Life.
Taken from the movie "Formula uno, febbre della velocità" an italian movie. IT's been published in the u.k and U.S. with the title "Speed fever". Presented by Niki Lauda and Sydne Rome, 1978. I own the DiVX

Giacomelli fucked up his career when he joined Life Racing, the definetely worst Formula One team ever. They didn't even pre-qualify.

@KillerDreck89 His career was already over when he joined Life. I think the saying goes something like this:
You can't lose something you don't have :)

@Lolzilol123 , that was what I already said in my comment.

When shall you stop racing, Lauda?
When I won't have any more this terrible will!
Andretti, what does racing mean to you?
It is an illness, a mark. I feel happy only when I board the car.
And for you, Teddy Mayr?
A challenge!
Niki, are you ever afraid?
Never!
Peterson, what is the happiness?
The victory!

Reutemann, why don't you ever smile?
I cannot. A minimum error would be sufficient for dieing.
Laffite, why do you participate to the competitions?
For earning a lot and having fun.
Mr. Ferrari, what's there in the future?
Races! I leave to my successors this incredible will of progressing as a legacy; even if it is costly. And much, very much, believe in me.

I love these onboard clips from the 1970s. This is one of my favourites - even though I haven't a clue what's being said.

This is actually 1977. Monza was Giacomelli's F1 debut. He qualified 15th, but retired after 38 laps with engine trouble.
