@heavytrike - I just played Dune again, and you are right, 9 out of ten times this song plays, my atreides launchers are shooting all over the place (and my units) just to hit that one worm.
Did Frank Klepacki ever record a stereo version of this? If not, he should do one.
I don't remember if Soundblaster had stereo for games back then. (Actually, I still have the computer I had this on, but a virus ate it, dammit! Anyone know where one can find the original PC game?)
@ijwi Don't know for older Sound Blaster cards but newer Sound blaster cards like Sound Blaster Pro or Sound Blaster 16 had stereo support. As far as I know the song itself isn't recorded in stereo but the game itself had stereo support. So for instance if a unit on left side of screen fired a shot it was heard in left speaker, if it was on right then it was heard in the right speaker. The most interesting thing is that all weapons sound are actualy just single midi tones used properly.
@SilvoWeiss I remember when you had to select your sound card in MS-DOS games. I love that terms, Sound Blaster, Adlib, or the flaming new CDROM sound. hahaha It brings a lot of memories... 90's had the best PC games ever...

Would it be possible for you to upload the credits track? I've been trying to find it everywhere and short of finishing the game (I have it on DosBOX), there's no other way I can get to hear it.
