I agree records are records. However, if Manning doesn't sit in that 2004 season he has over 50 TD's. No question about it. He could've also had a 16-0 team if he didn't sit as well. Brady should definitely be higher up on this list because he is arguably better than every other active QB today and most former great QBs. He's inches away from becoming on the same level as Joe Montana. He just needs one more SB win to do that and if the Pats can fix their porous D than I think he can do that. I played on teams with great defenses and he runs a ball control dink and dunk offense. Lately, the pats have been relying on him more and they haven't won since. He is a good QB but not worthy of the HOF. A HOF at least tries to make plays when their team needs them. He doesn't.

And Brady doesn't try to make plays. Look at his last two playoff lost. His team needed touchdowns and he just took sacks. He didn't try to make a play. There is a time when you have to put forth an effort to avoid a sack and try to force a play. He can't do that. Either the play is there for him or not

A great player tries to find a way to get the job done especially at a critical time, like when you are losing at the end of a game. He has never been able to make plays at the end. Driving a team into field goal range when the score is tied isn't making plays.

@whyamimrpink78 Then you haven't been watching enough Patriots playoff games. Brady did just that in the 4th quarter of SB 42, down 10-7. Threw a TD pass to Moss with 2:42 left. Brady also had an 11-play, 68-yd TD drive in SB 38 down 22-21. So there's just 2 off the top of my head - both in SBs.

Cassel is a career backup that had success under the same system Brady did. And Cassel had Weis as a coordinator meaning he set up an offense that any QB can look good in. Cassel, like Brady was never asked to win a game, they are asked to not lose. Score 20 points and hold the opponent to 17.

I agree records are records. However, if Manning doesn't sit in that 2004 season he has over 50 TD's. No question about it. He could've also had a 16-0 team if he didn't sit as well. As a Colts fan, I've hated the fact that the Colts never went for a perfect season like the Patriots did because in the years where Manning sat for any length of time the rythm was off going into the playoffs. That much was obvious. Much like the Packers this year.
