I'm a white guy myself, but I don't think it's anything in 'nature'. Here are my thoughts:
- Media is not kind to asian guys. Anyone who is exposed to asian media knows that asian guys can play manly, brave, courageous, etc. roles in movies and be awesome in them, but asian guys don't get cast in those roles very often in Western movies. By contrast, asian women are given very good treatment in media in terms of making them look feminine and attractive.
i used to always get picked on coz i liked asian guys (and i'm white). i went to a school where there were maybe... four asians in the entire school, so it was really odd? i don't quite understand why most girls go for white guys. because i'm not one of them. i actually am self concious around asian guys coz a lot of them are shorter and skinnier than me, and i think maybe they'll feel weird, right? but really, don't lose confidence!! there are a lot of girls out there who loooove asian guys <3

I think part of it is that many white women just don't find asian men attractive. Physically, they tend to be short, far too thin, they're bone structure is feminine, which is attractive in asians if they are female, but not in males, they have fatter faces which make them look childish, they aren't nearly as assertive as white, black, hispanic men which makes them more feminine, and they are rather androgynous. It is too easy for asian men to look like asian women. Lady boys.

maybe this is a quality problem. asian men in general tend to be highly educated and well versed in many topics without developing a "king of the world" attitude. this is very attractive to the kind of women who can afford to be the most selective. in bigger cities it's normal to see beautiful successful women of all races with asian men.

There are some people who prefer to date white people. However, there are ALOT of ladies, of all races, that are attracted to asian men. I'm a white guy myself, but I don't think it's anything in 'nature'. Here are my thoughts:
- Media is not kind to asian guys. Anyone who is exposed to asian media knows that asian guys can play manly, brave, courageous, etc. roles in movies and be awesome in them, but asian guys don't get cast in those roles very often in Western movies. By contrast, asian women are given very good treatment in media in terms of making them look feminine and attractive.

I've dated Asian and white (and I'm mostly white) so here's my opinion:
~language barrier sometimes
~family mixing occasionally (Ive been rejected for being white)
~The guys being shy
~The girl has to be open and know some things are going to be harder
~The guys seem not very masculine because sometimes they aren't
~Most girls dont want a guy skinner than they are
All things said though, I like Asian guys. Mostly Korean. But it comes down to who's willing and open enough to work for it.

I think part of it is that many white women just don't find asian men attractive. Physically, they tend to be short, far too thin, they're bone structure is feminine, which is attractive in asians if they are female, but not in males, they have fatter faces which make them look childish, they aren't nearly as assertive as white, black, hispanic men which makes them more feminine, and they are rather androgynous. It is too easy for asian men to look like asian women. Lady boys.

maybe this is a quality problem. asian men in general tend to be highly educated and well versed in many topics without developing a "king of the world" attitude. this is very attractive to the kind of women who can afford to be the most selective. in bigger cities it's normal to see beautiful successful women of all races with asian men.

I think the wf/am relationship will eventually take off simply because the status of white men is starting to diminish while white women keep climbing up the ladder & we don't want to date down. I am a successful white woman & I constantly get hit on by white guys who don't even have college degrees & aren't doing anything with themselves. It's a fact that they are falling behind asian men more & more while white women's status is growing. We are starting to get tired of losers.

I have to say in my experience the reason why white girls tend to not date Asian guys is because the girls that I've seen many Asian guys attracted to are these timid little fragile creatures. I think white girls tend to be put off by this. One of my best friends had this issue..where he basically had no luck with asian girls or any girls for that matter, and i kept telling him to date a white girl.. date a white girl.. eventually he did and they've been going out for almost 2 years.

First off, you definitely have a point with the whole age difference thing. Than is something no one ever thinks about and that is a great theory. However Im 100% chinese. My girlfriend is a white and georgeous. Shes the type who always gets hit on and can get any guy she wants.Ive talked to a lot of her wht friends and they say that they just arent attracted to asian males simply because of the sterotype of the nerdy glasses,geeky,image. It also doesnt help that many of them lack confidence.

I have had the opposite problem that you have during elementary school to the end of high school. A lot of girls like me and wanted to go out with me. Then i recently just thought about and noticed it was because i looked white and liked rock music and dressed white and liked "white" things. I was living in NY bronx and your right asians, hispanics, white, girls have a fixation on white people, but i think its because of social statis maybe or i was the only one they knew who wasnt hood idk

I am a Asian guy, I wasn't born in the U.S. I speaks good english. I have dated latino, white, a mix white/black and asian. The most serious relationship is with mix white/black. In my opinion is that most of asian guys don't put themself OUT THEIR and have less confident. Personality is what women likes in a man character. Just be yourself and don't forget your heritage, and you'll find rewarding, opening to anything near future to come.

To be perfectly honest, I've always wanted to hook up with an asian girl. When I lived in korea, I tried very very hard (Korean girls are so goddamn sexy), but I just couldn't pull it off. In the end, I ended up hooking up with a girl from canada.

I think it's because of your eating habbits, and possibly the fish eaten in china/japan gave asians halibut oils, which increase the functionality of the brain over a couple thousand year period.
