Its a good action movie. But this really insulted the 2004 version; where instead of just blowing the shit out of everyone, he used intelligence and cunning. It wasnt all bang bang boom. And to be honest, Ray Stevenson was a shitty Punisher. He showed such little skill. Tom Jane was the best...IS the best.

It`s a reboot intended to be closer to The Original Comics mixing the style of The MAX Comics , The Backstory & Characterization of Frank from The 616(Mainstream Marvel)Comics & Characters from Both as well as Original Characters.The Storyline is original though incorporating elements from The Comics such as Frank having a crisis of faith after unwittingly killing an innocent man with a family , The Feds gunning for Frank & Jigsaw forming an army of crooks to take Frank out.

Yeah , well Some Characters are altered for condensation purposes & otherwise.Personally , I`m just happy to finally get a Micro who`s actually faithful to Frank to The Death `specially after how they butchered his Character in The Later MAX Comics.

Actually, he ended up turning against Frank in the mainstream '90's series as well.  I don't think there's ever been a version of Micro that was faithful to the death....except in the movie.
