I find it ironic that the protests were NOT by regular Iranian people, ie urban and rural working people, but by Iranian people who do not work: students.
The guy running against Ahmadinejad is easily the richest person in Iran, and the protests were organized by the private universities he controls.

If only 10% of the estimated 1.5 billion Muslims in the world today want sharia law and are willing to support terrorists, or commit acts of terror themselves to get it, that is far too many people for Islam to have any part in modern society.
