@bookercity sorry that was someone else's account and what game did we back out of? our first game was the chicago classic, and we went... and there is always enough practice time if you make it for yourself. and last year doesnt really matter this year now does it?

NSU played VSU for this game and their band didn't show because they didn't get enough "practice time" because of the hurricane which is the "unlike other bands" I was referring too...Comprehensive reading is fundamental. And don't you have some homework or something to doing?

This must have been a sign that the marching band Gods are tired of hearing the same songs, over, and over, and over again from NSU. The End of time by Beyonce surprised me alot but it was refreshing to hear something new. Just come in on time.

@Oldschool1972 Oh, it will. Its just Hampton lol...Unlike other bands, the Legion didn't use the Hurricane as in excuse to back out of their first game because their wasn't enough practice time. They went with what they had. Their first show last year wasn't that great and you see what they did for the rest of the season...and their bandcamp was barely two weeks

The school officials made the decision to send the students home due to the power outage on campus. Classes did not resume until the day after the holiday. Again, decisions were made for the well being of the students. A band battle was NOT on their minds.

Everyone else is "smack talking" the Legion's show when its evident that they're practice was cut short because of the hurricane just like everyone else's band but they still showed up to the game which is the point I was making...and if the "well-being" of the students were at hand, then the football team wouldn't have showed up either and the game would have been rescheduled...stop whining. its not that serious

Now this isn't the Legion's best show but its also only game 1 and they just went through a Hurricane give them a break. O and that was very classy to shout out the trojan explosion.
