I think i made a major mistake yesterday when trying to update my iphone to iOs 5. My phone was already jailbroken and i used gevey green for the unlock however, i forgot to do any research before updating so i just updated it via itunes and now i'm stuck at "insert a valid sim-card", is there any way to jailbreak/unlock an already upgraded iphone?

when you preserve do you have to be on a version before ios5 or do you have to running ios 5 when you preserve?

@ISAIASODST1 you only preserve the baseband and upgrade the iOS. So, if you still have baseband 04.10.01, you should be good. But most likely your baseband is upgraded if you are already running iOS 5.

@ShaneWere if its already running baseband 04.11.08, i doubt it will work. I think most Gevey Sim's worked until baseband 04.10.01 and that's why in this particular video, it's mentioned to preserve the baseband and only upgrade the os. Someone may correct me if i'm wrong.
