  • i wish this was my childhood movie but my mom thought it was too scary for me

  • I was a little kid when this came out in theatres and vhs, i can actually say i watched this before it became a "cool thing to watch" later on down the road.

  • that hill he walks up it remines me of the style in disgaea, they probably got a lot of inspiration for that game from this film actually

  • me and my bro luv this movie.......... it rox

  • if there was one movie i want a marching band to do for a show then it would this just for the fact that EVERYONE loves these songs and who wouldn't want to play let alone memorize it for thousands to injoy the mere mimickery of it

  • it doesn't i know

  • @broly2k7 well yeah lol i think tats wat it was supposed to looked like

  • the spiral hill looks like a witches hat to me anyone else think so?

  • yes i do

  • i love this

  • look up Dabby elfman in google images. he looks almost exactly like Adam from Mythbusters lol.

  • danny elfman's voice is amazing

  • haha at 1:12 I totally thought that the statue was an inadvertent dick in a kids movie, then a few seconds later I was proven wrong. Great song, gotta love Danny Elfman.

  • hahahaha so funny

  • jacks voice is so amazing, and yeah tim burton cant be explained... new film coming 2010 featuring jonhy deep "alice in wonderland" cant w8 for it...will certainly be insain movie

  • i also can't wait! i bet it has the usual Tim Burton touch to it ^^

  • @Yargal234 u deserve a a -1 just by existing...

  • @missyreaper Sorry.... just stating the truth.

  • @Yargal234 your little tiny personal ignorant truth then.

  • @Yargal234

I agree with you. It was through the looking glass, not Alice in wonderland, and it just was not his best work.

  • @Nefferduat i personally liked it. not his best work, but i liked it a lot, flame me all you want, but i will still like it.

  • @TheWaterPower

I have no interested in flaming you. He could have done a lot worst- It was very well written and the acting was glorious. I enjoy parts of it myself.

  • @missyreaper are you dissapointed yet

  • @missyreaper too bad tim burton's version of alice in wonderland was really generic if you can say that about alice and really boring

  • @missyreaper not as insane as the video game Alice: Madness Returns :D though it's still a great film

  • Danny Elfman has a great voice. Out of context, this is still a great song.

    @ empty tears........awesome!

  • When I have kids, this movie is among those I absolutely want them to see.

  • same here

it inspired my creativity and love of film.

  • tim burton is awsome, he isn't like other people, i just can't explain it, if u look up his famous quotes, u will find that he is a very interesting man. that is what makes him my favourite human relating to movies, (jhonny depp and orlando bloom are nice too)

  • Tim Burton was a co-writer for this. c: He also produced/presented it. Danny Elfman wrote the film score, and sings for Jack.

The whole thing started out as a poem Tim Burton had written and taken to Disney. Because it was so dark, Disney allowed it under Touchstone Pictures.

  • i love this movie and all the songs! i can totally recite the WHOLE thing lol

  • I can sing this word for word, and people say am very good at it.

  • Jacks voice sounds like that one guy from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, i wonder if he's the one doing Jacks voice =}

  • Danny Elfman is the voice of Jack.

  • BEST MOVIE EVER!!!

  • i love this song my favorite part is when he walk down the curled up mountain thing

  • I Can Sing This Text!!! Love The Music In This film!!!

  • if any one wants the sheet music for treble clef its free printable and no downloads i have the sites if u want them

  • TIM BURTON ISFUCKING UHMAZINGGGGGG <3 <3 and this move is genius :O (L)

  • the king of dark animation...

  • tim burton makes the best movies ever. like the movie 9 coming out looks frigen awsome. also he always seems to get awsome actors

  • This is also a Disney movie. From what I've read Disney thought the movie was too dark (or something along those lines) and presented it as a Tim Burton film. If you look closely throughout the film you can see hidden images of the famous Mickey Mouse head.

  • that is correct because my cousin loves disney channel and i love this movie so during the halloween time they show this on disney channel I love this movie

  • who is the singer?

  • i believe it is Danny Elfman...

  • um danny elfman yeah i own the movie it says so

  • Tim did direct it! it was even his basic idea of th story! wer did u hear that from ?:S

  • Tim Burton definitely did not direct this movie. Henry Selick directed it, Burton helped write it. Look it up on IMDB.

  • but its tim burtons idea so that is why tim burtons name is on it and tim burton is awsome

  • no he didnt direct it, but its based on a poem that he wrote...he also produced this movie. its all at IMDB.

  • its from tim burton im 100% sure

  • Tim Burton is a true artist

  • Tim Burton actually didn't direct this movie. When I found that out, I honestly felt a little like I did when I learned that Santa Claus wasn't real.

  • That is pretty shit. Considering how much he rocks at life. What role did he have then?

  • Burton helped to write the movie, and I think he had a hand in producing it. But the directing was Henry Selick, who also did Coraline. (Coraline, btw, is definitely worth a viewing. A marvelous film.) My favorite "true blooded" Burton film is Edward Scissorhands, followed by Big Fish.

  • but he came with the ideas and the story. that itself is amazing that someone can come up with the actual story

  • Besides this and Corpse Bride, are there any other Burton films with loveable dead dogs in them?

I want a t-shirt that had Tim Burton on it...

  • Frankenweenie, one of his earlier films

  • A truly beautiful song

  • i love this movie..Burton is truly amzing i love how all his movies are dark but still have that sense of being whimsical

  • my favorite scene in the entire movie

  • jack. the most awesome thing ever to hit the screen:)

  • true that

  • "I have swept the very bravest off their feet." Once again ONE of the best lines ever. "Oh somewhere deep inside of these bones an emptiness began to grow, there's something out their far from my home..." We all know THAT feeling. The worst one ever is whenn you're so sure that it hurts you by the end of the day that you're still there.

  • There's something just so magical about this part in the movie

  • i know a bunch of monsters who can take off their head too

  • Have they ever recited Shakespearian quotations after doing so? I thought not.....

    JACK ROCKS!

  • "I'll scare you right out of your pants" greatest line ever.

  • haha XD
