love the movie for its use of technology. So I watch it over and over again. Unfortunately, dialogue is weak and sounds expositional often and the plot isn't too original either. Forget the story even. The plot is pure Pocahontas. The story is Romeo & Juliet (Pocahontas is also Romeo and Juliet). I get frustrated when someone calls this original in anything besides technology. Take away the tech, and what do we have? Jake's commander, who looks and talks like he should be in a cartoon?

It would've helped if ZS had actually studied the story just a bit - saying the Na'vi "didn't know what the skypeople were doing there" - they did, according to the movie. Which I've seen about a dozen times. One of the first things you see when JS lands on Pandora is a strip-mine. It wasn't about 'what were they doing there' it was the lengths they'd go to, to get what they wanted and the insatiability of their greed.
i would join them, really, i know they are unreal, practically virtual beings, but in the movie they are so real, full of emotions, that i would leave our lying, and war-making-race, just willingly, and come to these planet or what Pandora is..l

I loved how they made an entire language for this movie. It's such a cool sounding one too, with over 1,000 words too right? So cool. BEST MOVIE EVER!!!
Ive seen this movie twice in theaters already. I find it very amazing because we should reflect on the fact that they care, have respect for each other and the environment. They are all for one and one for all. Their energy together is like magical (miracle) that connects like a network. Their sacred tree reminds me of the Tree of Life too. I wish all of us as one people in this world would have the same love n care for our planet as they do for their planet Pandora.
I personally think technology is going to destroy the mankind. I mean i could be wrong but i thought Steven Hawking said that humans are going to have to evacuate earth in 120 years or so because of the o zone layer. It would've helped if ZS had actually studied the story just a bit - saying the Na'vi "didn't know what the skypeople were doing there" - they did, according to the movie. Which I've seen about a dozen times. One of the first things you see when JS lands on Pandora is a strip-mine. It wasn't about 'what were they doing there' it was the lengths they'd go to, to get what they wanted and the insatiability of their greed.

Ive seen this movie twice in theaters already. I find it very amazing because we should reflect on the fact that they care, have respect for each other and the environment. They are all for one and one for all. Their energy together is like magical (miracle) that connects like a network. Their sacred tree reminds me of the Tree of Life too. I wish all of us as one people in this world would have the same love n care for our planet as they do for their planet Pandora.
