this is a perfect gun to fool around with, with a few friends. It sucks if your friends are shooting full auto 400fps. But if (like me) you all went to wall mart to have a bb war one after noon, then why not drop 60$ and have fun.

@m70b1jr How old is your gun? This video was taken over a year ago, but now the same exact gun only shoots bbs a couple feet at close to 50 fps. A common problem is the barrel gets all ruffed up, and the bbs get bumped around and lose their velocity. Also, the battery dies over time, so you could try getting a new battery (if you can find one.)

Personally thia is the worst gun i have ever owned. I bought it and played with it for a short time and it worked fine then after using it i charged it over night then the next morning it didnt even fire one so i brought it back to the store and exchanged it for the same gun and it worked for to days and it will not shoot once again. Do you have any advice for this because when it does work its a really good gun if u have any advise just let me know.

I've got one of these and I really like it. Using the scope as a hopper has its pros and cons. Basically, the optics are terrible, there is no cross hairs or reticle in it, its just a tube with clear plastic on the end. Also, since it is the hopper, you can't replace it with something better. But then again, optics don't really matter with this weapon, as the accuracy is far from pinpoint. You can do pretty well by just looking over top the sight and watch where your rounds are going.

Yes, it's probably a good idea. 20 gram is too heavy. And, if you didn't already know, 6mm's the same thing as 12 gram, so some stores may sell "12 gram" but its the same as 6mm.

@blaker5923 Okay. I don't know where your information is coming from, but unless your talking about a special type of bb, 6mm USUALLY comes in 12 gram. But there is such a thing as a 20 gram 6mm bb, that's why I said 20 gram would be too heavy.

If you go to Walmart, or any other local store, unless it's a gun specialty shop, there going to have 12 gram 6mm bbs.

So please get your information straight before you get all worked up.

@x408GT408x Dude for the last time, on the box that it comes in it says ammo: 12 gram airsoft bbs. And it came with 12 gram bbs.

And yes 20gram is better than 12 but this gun is only 200 FPS so shooting 20 gram decreases the distance that it will go. With 12 gram it can shoot longer than 20 gram.

20 gram is really great for 250+ FPS guns. And 250+ FPS only.

Had the TAC R71 for a while now and overall its a nice gun. Kinda hate that you HAVE to keep the scope. Really not a scope at, just a hole through a piece of plastic. XD

If you take the scope off it just looks alot better, but then you can't do anything -.-

And yeah, the shaking part does get annoying, but managable.

It's the Feet Per Second that the bullet will travel, and on this gun it's 200, which means the bb will go 200 feet in one second.
