I've never heard of this group. It makes me want to get some of the 45s my mom still has from the 60s and 70s. I recently realized my mom has never gotten rid a single record we ever bought. They're not worth any money but they would bring back memories. I don't have a record player so I won't be adding them to youtube any time soon.

I saw your Mom`s group perform in Madison Square Garden in June 1972 at the Dion and Belmonts reunion, as apart of Richard Nader`s oldies revival show.The Exciters brought the house down and they looked shocked that we would love them so!That was the best concert I`ve ever been to.!

Bless you! Your mum's contribution is so wonderfully timeless in its contribution to a sound that will never ever die! As long as Northern Soul continues, which I feel will be generationally forever the Exciters will always figure in drawing dancers to the floor. I both envy and applaud!!!
