Some of you fuckers have sympathy for these damn rodents as if they were people. They spread disease extremely easily and its very dangerous to have them around. Killing them is better than humanely releasing them b/c they'll either return, find another house, and/ or reproduce more disease carrying vermin offspring.
And you state that you do not condone cruelty to animals, yet you say that mice deserve to suffer? That's a pretty big double standard - no rational person would ever agree with you.
It's just wrong to make it suffer when you can finish him off. If you had the choice of making it suffer and ending its life quickly, which would you choose and why? You know I am right BTW... your kind of mentality is sociopathic.
when it comes to critters with brains the size of a peas, i'm really not concerned about their suffering. If it was a pet, thats another story. I can be very merciful, and I do not condone cruelty to animals, just for shits and giggles.
I just have bigger worries than a mouse suffering. It could have been worse if a snake had eaten it. And thats nature. Time to face reality.
All mammals share a similar nervous system and are capable of feeling pain as we do. What you catch on these traps aren't insects. Your mercy involves the size of brain, rather than what it can actually do? Seriously, letting this mouse suffer when you had the choice to humanely kill it is unacceptable and immoral. At least with a snake it is quicker, letting it starve/freeze to death is just intentional cruelty. I am not condemning killing mice, rather the method/apathy/cruelty aspect.
It's the principle of it man. Letting is suffer is unethical. Humane death = good. Letting it suffer = bad. There is no need to and it certainly does not deserve it, no animal deserves to be tortured. That it's "vermin" is no reason to be needlessly cruel.
My uncle used the "sticky traps" before but it takes them a long time before they do die. Anyway, once you've caught one using that type of trap, the most common way to kill them is to drown them in a bucket of water. If you're like my Uncle though, you can do what he did which is to toss it in a fire and let it burn to death.
i agree. i put some pads in my house. it will die an awesome death as well. leavin there shyt all over the place. its not mean right. its only justice
i know yer just a kid, so you don't understand what "mean" is. Maybe someday when yer a big boy/girl, and you have a house of your very own... you'll understand when mouse breed 12 varmints a month, and your house is over run by them.
Mice in the house, gotta go, but glue traps are another word for torture. Christ man, use snap traps, poison... something at least humane. Doesn't deserve to suffer like that. Nothing does. :/
I pratice veterinary, and he's right. By saying "mean", glue traps are cruel. When you have ways to humanely kill them do so - don't let them suffer. Cheers.
glue traps are more effective then snap traps, and poison traps are "humane"??? I believe it takes over 4 hours of the mouse suffering before it finally dies when poisoned.
the bottom line, is it is vermin. thats a bad thing. kill them. they don't go to mousey heaven. it doesn't matter.
My friend had to deal mice like that once-- I have sympathy for those cute little innocent white pet mice in pet stores, but not those damn wild mice that crap all over things and chew through wood! She also used the glue traps, the only ones that worked. Was still sad putting them down, though-- she got two pencils and quickly broke their necks, fastest wa to do it, I guess.
I just caught one!

yea, but i think human jihadi's should suffer aganizing death. torturing your dog is one thing, but letting a stupid mouse freeze is another.

alot of "things" deserve to suffer. mice are one of them. we actually tossed this guy outside, so he could freeze to death in 16 degree weather.
