Awesome. I saw one of these today at a reptile show in Columbus. I had never heard of or seen one before so it was cool. I'm going to research more about them and probably purchase one in the near future.
A 46 is probably plenty of room for a trio. Especially if you're starting out with young CB's. I don't know anyone right now that has any young for sale, though. Check out the kingsnake classifieds. I often see Pipa pipa (probably WC) available there.
The tank is 55 gallons. Yes, the clicking that you hear is from at least one of the males. Considering they were under water the calls are surprisingly loud.
A surinam toad is an eyeless toad that carries it's eggs and young ones on it's back until they are old enough, by which tim the mom ditches them to die in peace.
I have to admit a bit of revulsion at seeing the way surinam toads incubate their young, but am equally fascinated by the process. Thanks for the interesting video!
dose that have eggs on it?

@TheRoachKeeper I'm not sure if there is a rule for toads, but for fish, its every inch of fish is a gallon of water

Do you think a 46 gallon bowfront tank would be appropriate for several(I'd like to see this drama myself!). Also do you know of anyone with CB ATM?

Just breed guppies. All you need is a ten gallon tank and they breed easily and have lots of babies.
