Very clear upload compared to all others I've heard. Someone must have cleaned it up! :)

This and the bhajan "mori binati maano kaanh re" are my favourites among the 8 songs.

My father always told me about this child prodigy. Now he's on Youtube! Very impressive. More so as a Dawn article from 2001 mentions he was 7 when these HMV recordings were made! :0

Once again, if there is an English translation for this ghazal available, it would be greatly appreciated!

The good thing is that you are unlike your name. Otherwise I would have been deprived of this listening pleasure. I first listened to one of these ghazzals in bbc urdu service by Abdi saheb.

You presented it well by displaying the whole ghazzal with the poet's name. People will know both singer and the poet. It saddens me to note that in most of the songs poet's name has been ignored.

You also provided some detail of the mysterious circumstances leading to Madan's death.
