I have Portal 2 on my 11" Macbook Air as well (64GB, 2G RAM, and 1.4Ghz), along with Steam also on my Air, but whenever I fire up the game it lags very badly... And I have the game settings on the lowest settings, but it still lags.

Is there any way I can fix this horrible lag issue?

@TheZachVlogs close unused processes (if that is on mac)  on my laptop usually i have 100 processes runing

11.6 1.6 and 4 GB was choppy in OS X. Installed a Bootcamp Windows 7 Partition & now it plays very smoothly at native Res and High/ Med settings.

13" base model runs fine too on all default settings and native res.

is this through windows or mac? I just ran the first portal on my macbook air 11.6 2010 with 128 flash etc and get about 10-15 fps. this was via steam on mac though.

any tips for me to improve performance?
