@pugsley141 You were , the Romans had you lot colonised for the guts of 200 years off and on ,then you were colonised by the Anglo-Saxon invasion, they were the begining of the English as a nation, the Saxons were originaly Germanic ,so you will find you were done by the italians, and born by the Germans .

You should have heard the unbelievable din of boos around Hampden Park from the Scottish fans when the UK national anthem, used by England for their football matches, played....I have never heard anything quite like this other than a Bosnia v Serbia football match.
Not surprising that the English editing ignored this headline-grabbing match introduction.
