I always have to fight the urge to scream "no!" When she turns away from the church or when the people treat her so harshly. In a way I'm her. In a way, I say. People at my church (though kind) all look at me differently and think I'm on the verge of satanism cause I wear alot of black. I'm darker, yes, but I love God with all my heart. I've been kicked out (and bullied out) of several churches before because of it.

Casting Crown songs really get me. Haven't we all made mistakes-large and small, they all hurt.  And in life shouldn't the less wounded help the more wounded. Everyone really just wants a little hope, joy and peace in this world. I need to share that with others more. And to be thankful for those that have been there for me when I needed it most. Why tear others down? Don't we all do a good enough job of that ourselves? I need to remember to be the salt and not the acid of the earth.

Okay, I have to admit, I love this video, love the song. It made me stop and think, that's for sure. Buuut....I watched the one that filmgirl06 made first and....this one doesn't have the emotional depth that I found in that one.

Either way, the message remains the same, the strength behind it is unchanging, and lessons should (and have been) learned. Thanks for posting this vid!

It's so funny how I ran to men, parties and alcohol to fill up that empty place that was put there especially and only to be filled with the love of Christ Jesus. Pray to be the tool, the vessel that God uses to save men and women like this. You may be the only Jesus they see in their entire life until they themselves get to know Christ. You may be saving a life literally. You don't know how much a phone call means until you hear the testimony years later. Praise be to God. Thanx!

hey I understand, not the same thing but I got played by a guy when I was 16. It's hard especially when other people are gonna think bad of you cuz of their lies. At the time i was so upset and hurt, I couldn't see beyond tomorrow. now im 20 and happy and that seems like a bad dream that was forever ago. don't lose hope, you will get through high school and find there is an amazing, hard, fun life filled with breathtaking moments. Make sure you find your smile, then keep it! :)

This is one of my favorite songs. I've been a Christian and church-goer all my life, but sometimes I feel ignored in my own church. I have gone to the same church for 9 years, but people barely talk to me in youth service. I go to a small group once a week that consits of people the same age and gender as me, and they talk to me there. I don't really feel welcome in my own youth group :(

not everybody who goes to church is filled with Christ's love...pray for divine friendship and company and God will here your desire for companionship in the church. You may be surprised at how lonely and empty all those other people in your youth group may be. Middle school behaviour doesn't come form God...it comes from the enemy to discourage and bitter you towards God.

This is a good song even though it's sad. Yes I think we need to pay more attention to new people especially when they're trying to find a way to meet others. Some of them might be looking for help while others are looking for a new group of friends. We dont know why they come and visit, but we need to welcome them into our little group of friends. After all you might be one person in this great big world but to one person you just might be an answer to help them get by in their own world.

Every1Rox: Please let your sister know she isn't alone and please tell her not to give up. No one can save her from herself until she really wants the help. I have friends that are in her situation and I pray that some day they'll see the light and realize that alcohol and drugs are not the solution to any of their problems. I've tried helping my friends, but sometimes they have to hit rock bottom and suffer to realize what's going on. I'll pray for your sister tho and hopefully she gets better.

this song is amazing. it just shows that we need to look out for new people coming into our lives. this song written by a youth pastor because a new girl came to his youth group but no one even payed attention to her, so she ended up commiting suicide. so just remember to talk to and make people comfortable when they come into your life.

That's terrible! I mean, crap, I know these folks in the vid are actors and all, but it still makes my heart ache when I watch this. I first saw (and heard) this song in church during worship, and it had a profound effect on all of us. Talk about inviting new people! Our pastor has told all of us, and I mean ALL of us, to be welcoming and open when we have visitors, or, according to the Biblical standard, we're failing. Jesus loved the "unlovable". Are we better than Him?

the fall background is soo pretty! and i totally agree. when we 1st moved to texas a few months back (from nc) the church we went to was so cold and uncaring. the youth i went to was too caught up in their groups (us four no more) that they couldn't pay attention to the new and scared kids. what a horrible way for my 6th grade bro to start his youth group experience. i cried and stopped wanting to go to church b/c of that. this one's just on the brink of death, but it's better!

Hi.I'm a Christian, and the church I go to thankfully doesn't tend to judge people. When a new person comes, they try to make them feel loved and accepted. As a Christian, I hate people's sin, but definately never people. We are all affected by the curse, and none of us has any right to judge anyone. Also, reguardless of how other Christians treat you, I hope you will realize that that is not the example Jesus set for us. He died for our sins, even though none of us deserves it please trust Him.
