La Policia Nacional De Defensa or PDF was the regular police, there had been a legal election of a president, and the Americans didn't like it, declare the elections a fraud and came in and invaded on the pretense of democracy and justice...like they do everywhere.

once againg , this is proof that not all the P.D.F. was a monster! many of this soldiers today are acuse of being the lowest ,yet here we have an account of someone that was protected by them! in october the 3rd of that year .the low comand ,try to take out the high comand ,because of their corruption! the lost their lifes trying to turn in noriega in a peacefull way ,but the cards were already drawn agaist them from the high comand and by the south comand.

The majority of my knowledge about the 1989 US invasion of Panama is what I learned from the documentary "The Panama Deception"... It's wild Jones was scheduled to interview with Noriega that next day and was there pn December 20th. What an incredibly unique perspective for an American to have of the invasion.
