My English teacher use to start some discussion in class in order to give us more experience in spoken English. It's very interesting. Some classmates don't have any opinion and sometimes we can take a debate with many and many differents point of view. I confess that I don't like talk about politics, maybe because I don't understand it.

What does "ta-ta for now" mean?

I have just taken a look at lesson 3 : "ta" means "thank you"!! (to me and Mr Duncan!)

'Ta' is a word used to mean thanks. 'Ta very much!' Ta-ta is used to say 'bye bye'. So 'ta-ta for now' means 'Bye for now'. They are fun and friendly words. Ta-ta for now!
