She is a she in the manga for now but i read somewhere that it can turn out that she(or in this case it ) has no sex but she is not a man, at least not in hellsing.

And can someone explain me in the end of the manga she was show and she looked like she didn t age at all?

@fehafarefare Actually I have to correct you about two points. Heinkel is only confirmed as a female in a manga made by Hirano called Crossfire. Crossfire has no connection to Hellsing in any way. Hirano said that himself. Also Hirano once joked that Heinkel is a hermaphrodite meaning Heinkel is both genders. However, it is unknown to everyone except Hirano just what Heinkel is exactly. Many as you can see wish Heinkel to be female. Also btw Heinkel is a unisex name.

Actually, Heinkel isn't an actual prename. Most Hellsing characters have somewhat weird names (I mean "Tubalcain Alhambra"? "Avondale Napyeer"?)

@Msnemesis77 Actually Heinkel is a real German name. It's mostly used as a last name, but is sometimes occasionally used as a first name, and a pet name of the name Heinrich. Also the name Tubalcain has a meaning behind it. Almost everything in Hellsing honestly has a meaning, and a origin behind it. The name Tubalcain is actually found in the bible, and this man is a descendant of Cain. Alhambra means the red. Avondale means valley of waters, and as for Napyeer that's just Hirano's crazy brain.

No, the name Heinkel is a last name only (made famous by the WWII plane manufacturer). The pet name of "Heinrich" is "Heinz" or "Heiner".

Most Hellsingnames have a meaning, yes. They just aren't names you would encounter in real life. ("Seras", "Integra" etc.) You would also have to search quite a lot to find an Italian called "Maxwell", an Englishman called "Doneaz", a German called "Avondale" etc. I think Hirano chose the names to be deliberately hammy (like the whole series)

I have to disagree with you entirely though simply on the fact of names such as Shiquanda, Jeniqua, and Guadalupe exist as first names. I mean I have a family member with some complicated mexican name, and I just shake my head. Just because it sounds like a name you think you wouldn't encounter in real life doesn't mean it's not possible to find someone who has that name. Also it's spelled Dornez. It's spanish.

@Msnemesis77 Also look at the names celebrities give their children now. I think Alicia Silverstone named her latest child, a boy, Bear Blu Jarecki. But the list goes on of unique baby names. I mean hippie children are a good example to of unique names that you would never think would be real names. I think Seras Victoria, and Integra are great names for a baby girl, and Pip is cute for a boy. Seras Victoria means "You will be victorious." Integra is from Integral which means integrity.

Heinkel is now a regenerator and Iscariots top operative. This gives us some clues as to Andersons past, and makes us wonder just how old Anderson is exactly since obviously regenerators cannot age.

@MadaraXIII Don't take this in a mean way. That is not an ACTUAL translation. I looked in the official vol.9 released in bookstores and it does not say that. Sorry. That little note there is from the translator just saying why heinkel talks weired. That is not official that heinkel is a man. The person just sees heinkel that way. Nowhere in the manga does it call heinkel a "he" not even once that i read. But the thing calling heinkel "she" IS in the back of vol.5. i know because I have them.

Continued from last part: For example in the Japanese dub or Rurouni Kenshin they have a female voice actor for the voice of Kenshin. Even though she was trying to do a male voice it was still too feminine. Of in that case it was obvious that Kenshin was a man. Now the voice actor was probably just doing a deep female voice for Heinkel. But it's not certain. We really won't know what gender Heinkel is till we hear the english dub whenever it comes out. Until then I am guessing Heinkel is female

Well it depends. In the side story Crossfire Hirano clearly shows Heinkel as a woman. It's made obvious in a picture where Heinkel has the coat off, and has two big melons. However, in the Hellsing series it's a bit of a debate. Heinkel is the most androgynous Hellsing character. Hirano sarcastically said that Heinkel is a hermaphrodite when he was asked the same question. It's hard to tell in the Japanese dub what the gender is because sometimes they use women for male voices in anime.
