  • I must redouble learning Mandarin! An aging population is going to be a huge challenge to China, but the elders can pass along the lessons of the past to their children, and the folly of burning the wisdom of their great culture.

    Cooperation with China is ill served by useful idiots like those who abetted Soviet Union. Businesses and nations need astute negotiators like Kissinger, who seek balance, not naive utopias.
