I appreciate your information and the ideas you propose to solve these problems. Please encourage us as to how to support you to bring these as we can, as citizens, to the table.
Unprecendeted events can ask for new ways of dealing with things.
How about parallel setting in place program[s] to [creating jobs, stimulatng the economy and resolving some hefty health and quality of life issues] to convert these small trucking businesses to higher fuel efficiency? And a future w local economies?

Nader is well aware of what Hemp is capable of and the US policies towards it, and the many other alternatives available to us that aren't being used. Sadly, people get more upset about the price of gasoline than anything else (semi-rightly so), and he is capitalizing on that anger.

memorial day is coming up. I wish we would all get out and demand an end to the Iraq war. every single day more lives are taken( both Americans and Iraqis).
BTW price of oil in Europe,even an oil exporter like Norway is more than 8 dollars per gallon (more than 2 dollars per liter).
